What a score from Ryan O'Donoghue. You could feel the tension in Croke Park but that has given the Mayo team and fans a huge lift.

Still plenty of time for Kerry to turn this around but they will need to make a dent soon.

Kerry survive, but Mayo remain firmly in control.

That could be a championship-winning score.

A big chance goes begging for Kerry.

The Westerners work the ball forward before Kobe McDonald bursts through the middle, carrying it at pace before confidently splitting the posts.

The lead is back out to three points with the final ten minutes approaching.

Kerry have tightened up defensively, but Mayo find the response they desperately needed.

Jack Carney drives down the left before Jordan Flynn takes over, arcing in from the corner to a more central position and curling a superb effort over the bar.

A crucial score for Andy Moran's side as they restore their two-point advantage.

Graham O'Sullivan starts the move before Evan Looney feeds David Clifford on the right.

The Kerry talisman calmly fists over another point, and after 56 minutes there is just a single point between the sides as the Kingdom continue their charge.

Ryan O'Donoghue robs the Kerry defence and races clear on the counter before slipping the ball through to Kobe McDonald.

His goalbound effort is brilliantly kept out by Shane Murphy, diving low to make the save, and Mayo have to settle for a point from the rebound instead.

The momentum has swung firmly Kerry's way.

Graham O'Sullivan is left completely unmarked on the right and makes Mayo pay, calmly splitting the posts with a simple finish.

It's six unanswered points from the Kingdom, and the gap is down to just one with 54 minutes played.
