    Dan Creaney scored three goals in 12 league games for Solihull Moors this season

    Tamworth have re-signed forward Dan Creaney on a free transfer from Solihull Moors.

    He was a prolific scorer in his first spell at The Lamb Ground from 2023 to the summer of 2025 and returned in November for an eight-match loan spell.

    "I have been trying to get Dan back ever since his loan period ended in December," said manager Andy Peaks.

    "This is an 18-month deal so we are really pleased that we have Dan committed for next season too."

    Tamworth are 13th in National League and at home to Sutton United on Saturday.

    Will Sutton has signed for Solihull Moors on loan from Oldham

    Solihull Moors have signed Will Sutton from Oldham on loan until the end of the current season.

    The 23-year-old central defender has made more than 50 first-team appearances for Oldham since making his debut in 2021.

    He also brings experience gained in loan spells with Witton Albion and Farsley Celtic to Moors, who currently sit 10th in the National League.

  3. Gateshead sign Bowen after Solihull exitpublished at 18:45 GMT 14 January

    Gateshead have signed midfielder Sam Bowen after his contract with Solihull Moors was ended by mutual agreement.

    The 25-year-old has joined the north-east club on a free transfer, having agreed a deal to the end of next season.

    He made 12 appearances for Solihull this term, scoring once in a 4-0 win over Truro City in November.

    His former club said he had been a "respected and reliable" member of their squad whose "commitment, professionalism and influence around the group were evident throughout his time with the Moors".

    Gateshead are bottom of National League and at home to Rochdale on Saturday.

    Goalkeeper Rory Brown has left Solihull Moors following the end of his contract.

    The former Wolverhampton Wanderers academy graduate joined the Moors from Northern Ireland side Coleraine last summer on a contract until 6 January 2026.

    The 25-year-old from Londonderry did not make a league appearance for Solihull but did play three times in the National League Cup.

    The club described Brown as a "committed and valued member of the squad throughout his time at Damson Park".

    Solihull Moors have extended their loan deal for Stoke City's Darius Lipsiuc until the end of the season.

    The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has scored four goals in 21 appearances for the National League side this eason.

    The 20-year-old has been on the books at Stoke for two years, having joined the Potters from St Patrick's Athletic in January 2024.

    Solihull Moors have turned midfielder Scott High's loan move from Barnet into a permanent deal.

    The 24-year-old joined the Moors temporarily in October after making six appearances for Barnet in League Two this season.

    High, who has played every game since arriving at Damsen Park, has signed a contract until the end of the 2026-27 season.

    "As my first long-term signing at the Moors, Scott sets the standard," said, external boss Chris Millington.

    "I expect him to become a fans' favourite very quickly."
