    Rochdale have signed goalkeeper Ben Winterbottom from League Two strugglers Barrow in a short-term loan deal.

    The 24-year-old moves to the National League leaders with Dale number one Oliver Whatmuff - on loan from Manchester City - currently away on international duty with the England Under-19 squad.

    Barrow say Winterbottom will be available for Rochdale's next two matches - against Scunthorpe United and Sutton United - before returning to them.

    Solihull Moors have signed striker Tobi Sho-Silva on loan for the remainder of the season from Kidderminster Harriers.

    The 30-year-old forward has scored once in 15 appearances in National League North for Harriers this season and joins the Moors for the final eight games of the campaign.

    Sho-Silva was part of the Sutton United side that won promotion to the English Football League (EFL) for the first time in the club's history in 2020-21 and was at Carlisle United when they won the League Two play-off final two seasons later.

    "Tobi is a great character and will bring energy and a physical presence to the front line," said , externalMoors boss Chris Millington.

    "He will also have an impact off the pitch due to his experience and professionalism."

    Solihull, seven points clear of the relegation zone, are away to bottom club Truro City on Wednesday (19:45 GMT).

    Eastleigh have signed Southampton defender Jayden Moore on loan until the end of the season.

    The 19-year-old joins the Spitfires from the Saints Under-21 squad with 57 appearances at that level under his belt.

    Moore, who made the bench for the first team at the end of the 2024-25 Premier League season, could be straight into action when Eastleigh host Sutton in the National League on Tuesday.

    Gateshead defender Callum Johnson has retired from professional football at the age of 29.

    Johnson has called time on his career after suffering a succession of muscle injuries in the last two-and-a-half years.

    The former Accrington Stanley and Portsmouth player made nearly 300 senior appearances, but managed only 11 for Gateshead this season, the last one coming in November.
