  3. 'It's going to make the game very open'published at 19:28 GMT 5 November

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Hoffenheim

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

It's one thing going down to 10 men and holding onto the game if you're 1-0 up but when you're 1-0 down you have got to come up with something offensive. It's going to make the game very open.

Feel for Palace here, they have a ref that falls for every dive, misses obvious calls and dishes out cards like it's Christmas.

    Tony

Never a red card. Both were simply jumping for the ball, shoulder to shoulder. Hoffenheim player has got him sent off there. Ref very poor.

  5. Postpublished at 19:28 GMT 5 November

    Sparta Prague 1-2 Bournemouth

Sparta sub Santiago Eneme, who has to take a lot of the blame for that goal, shoots over from 25 yards.

  6. 'What a goal'published at 19:27 GMT 5 November

    Sparta Prague 1-2 Bournemouth

    Joe Partington
Former Bournemouth defender on BBC Radio Solent

What a goal. Bournemouth doing what they do best and win the ball high. Reverse pass into Evanilson and he has no right to score from that angle.

He shifts the ball onto his right foot and passes it into the corner. The Bournemouth fans are going wild.

  8. goal

GOAL - Sparta Prague 1-2 Bournemouthpublished at 19:25 GMT 5 November

    Evanilson (81 mins)

    Lovely finish.

Ryan Christie wins the ball off Santiago Eneme and plays in Evanilson.

The striker takes a touch and under pressure just guides a gorgeous finish into the far bottom corner.

  9. Postpublished at 19:25 GMT 5 November

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Hoffenheim

Boos around Selhurst Park as they think Andrej Kramaric has handled the ball.

Looking at the replays it looks like a clear handball. And he is already on a booking.

Palace fans probably right to be fuming.

  10. 'Huge save'published at 19:25 GMT 5 November

    Sparta Prague 1-1 Bournemouth

    Joe Partington
Former Bournemouth defender on BBC Radio Solent

Huge save. It was a really good pass from Tyler Adams. Alvaro Rodriguez just couldn't get enough power on his shot and it's a good save.

  11. Postpublished at 19:25 GMT 5 November

Tyler Adams picks out Alvaro Rodriguez in the box and the Cherries forward is tackled just as he's shooting.

To Graham (19:13) - Sage is not the problem either; it’s our recruitment policy that saw us replace our two best centre-backs with a pair of terrible Chelsea loanees.

  13. 'That's a bit harsh'published at 19:23 GMT 5 November

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Hoffenheim

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

That's a bit harsh. Wharton led with the arm, but there's no intent to do the player. He's just jumped. It's a difficult one.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:23 GMT 5 November

    Sparta Prague 1-1 Bournemouth

Sparta bring on Santiago Eneme and Hugo Sochurek for goalscorer Ebrima Singhateh and Josimar Alcocer.

  15. Postpublished at 19:23 GMT 5 November

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Hoffenheim

Palace have just over 10 minutes to find something in this game but down to 10 men they are on the back foot.

The home fans are unhappy as Wouter Burger brings down Darío Osorio and they win a free-kick but there's no card shown.

They clearly feel if Wharton is shown a second yellow for his earlier foul then Burger should be for that one.

  16. Postpublished at 19:21 GMT 5 November

    Sparta Prague 1-1 Bournemouth

A sustained period of Bournemouth pressure. Corners and whatnot. Into the final 15 minutes.

  17. Postpublished at 19:21 GMT 5 November

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Hoffenheim

Some may feel that is harsh but Adam Wharton challenged for the ball and ran the risk of a yellow card.

So many silly fouls from this Palace side and they are down to 10 and a goal down.

  18. RED CARD - WHARTONpublished at 19:20 GMT 5 November

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Hoffenheim

Well we said Palace were living dangerously and they have been punished!

Adam Wharton jumps and has his arm over Wouter Burger and that is a second yellow for the Palace midfielder.

I know Glasner had a couple of bad spells whilst he was in charge of Palace, but despite having a squad that is deeper and (overall) better than what OG had (apart from Guehi), Sage just cannot get it to click. Think his appointment was bold, but it just hasn't worked.
