Marco Rose used his bench to inspire Bournemouth to come from behind against 10-man Sparta Prague and maintain their 100% record in the Europa League this season.

Tyler Adams, Evanilson and Rayan all came on as substitutes to score as the Cherries made it four wins from four in their debut European campaign.

American midfielder Adams got the equaliser soon after the break, to cancel out Ebrima Singhateh's first-half opener, when he finished well after Amine Adli had sparked a move by pouncing on a mistake from the Czech side's defence.

It followed Tobias Guddal being sent off for Sparta in the first half for a second yellow card.

The Cherries had to wait until nine minutes to go to get the second, Evanilson providing a superb finish from inside the area to put them ahead before Rayan scored the third with an effort from just outside the box.

Bournemouth boss Rose made eight changes from their weekend win over Leeds United and the visitors struggled early on in Prague.

Jonatan Braut Brunes missed a great opportunity in the opening moments before Bournemouth's Lewis Cook hit the post with a penalty following a handball from former Liverpool and Wolves defender Ki-Jana Hoever.

Sparta took a deserved lead in the 35th minute after some brilliant footwork from Singhateh, who used a clever trick to beat Adam Smith and Cook in one movement before delivering a brilliant finish.

The Czech side's joy was short-lived as two minutes later they were reduced to 10 men as defender Guddal was sent off for a second bookable offence, for pulling down Alvaro Rodriguez.

That certainly took the momentum from the hosts and Rose opted to bring on some of his regulars as Adams was the first substitute at the interval.

He had an immediate impact, with his energy reinvigorating Bournemouth, and got his goal 12 minutes after the restart.

Rose then continued to make changes with Evanilson, Adrien Truffert, Marcus Tavernier and Rayan all coming off the bench as they penned in Sparta looking for the winning goal but squandered chances.

But they got the important goals late on to make it seven wins in a row in all competitions.
