Not enough being said about the young players for Liverpool tonight. Trey Nyoni is so calm and assured, Lewis Koumas working so hard in the press. Great prospects in the ranks!

It's a lovely move all round and Cody Gakpo shows his quality. The Dutchman is back in the starting line up and back in the goals.

Here's a stat from Ian Dennis. Gakpo's last 11 goals have all been in the second half.

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:12 BST 15 September

    West Ham 2-2 Fulham

Championship West Ham should have taken the lead. Jarrod Bowen with a gorgeous inswinging corner from the right and Konstantinos Mavropanos is there and unmarked standing on the six-yard box.

But his header down is inches past the post. Should've scored.

What a move. Already within two passes Arsenal are on the front foot and make great use of the ball to go 3-0 up.

Honestly Spurs haven’t played badly here, they are just so devoid of confidence though in front of goal. They need an ugly deflected effort to get them back on track.

    Lee, Surrey

The negative Spurs fans need to have some perspective. We’ve come 17th two seasons in a row. We’re improving each game and should be winning this game with the chances we’ve created. If we’re still struggling by Christmas then start complaining.

The issues with Tottenham are plain to see, never replacing the goals in the team lost from Kane and Son. We are crying out for a prolific forward.

    Ricky, Benfleet

As a Chelsea fan, I never thought I'd say this but I am starting to feel grief for Tottenham supporters... I am realising now just how much Kane and Son propped up that club.

    Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham

Liverpool grew into that first half and deserve the lead but Spurs have missed two sitters and Roberto De Zerbi will be furious that his side somehow aren't level.

  14. goal

    Reyes Cleary (Barnsley)

Reyes Cleary is having a superb match down the left wing for Barnsley and he scores his second goal of the night.

Barnsley have been 1-0 up, 2-1 down and now 3-2 in front. The move is a rapid counter-attack from a Peterborough corner.

Clayton Taylor leads the charge and takes the ball a long way down the field, slides a pass through and the pacey Cleary gets in on goal and scores again.

Typical Fulham. Completely unable to hold onto a lead, and once again we throw a reasonable shot at silverware out the window. This has "relegation season" written all over it.

  17. 'Arsenal have been a bit loose at moments'published at 20:54 BST 15 September

    HT: Ipswich Town 0-2 Arsenal

    Joe Sheehan
Former Ipswich Town Women manager on BBC Radio Suffolk

I don't think Mikel Arteta looks too happy, a great start from Arsenal scoring two goals early but they have been a bit loose at moments.

There were opportunities for Arsenal to keep their foot on the pedal and they have given Ipswich opportunities.

Ipswich have responded really well to [conceding] the two goals and created some dangerous moments.

We've defended relatively well to Arsenal's threat at times so we'll have to maintain concentration and discipline.
