Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a finish this is by the way, magic feet!

He doesn't just hit the far corner he hits it right into the roof of the net. Really strong finish, he's getting the results.

GOAL - West Ham 1-2 Fulhampublished at 37 mins

    Cesar Palacios (Fulham)

For the second time, Fulham take the lead at London Stadium. West Ham will be furious with their defending as they get caught out with a fine long pass from defender Joachim Andersen.

Cesar Palacios is free of the defence, takes a touch on his chest to control the ball, another touch to set himself and then a little lofted finish over West Ham goalkeeper Finlay Herrick. Fine finish.

    Ipswich Town 0-2 Arsenal

Better from Ipswich Town as they have a chance at goal. It drops to Zian Flemming, who came off the bench to score the winner against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

The shot is on target and looks to have beaten Kepa Arrizabalaga, but 17-year-old Arsenal defender Marli Salmon is well placed to clear the ball off the line.

    Lovely strike!

A nice Liverpool move as Cody Gakpo plays the ball across the edge of the box to Rio Ngumoha, who then feeds a pass to Alexis Mac Allister to slam a first-time strike into the back of the net. The keeper didn't move.

    Reading 0-1 Brentford

Reading are battling to get back level against their Premier League opponents and win the game's first corner on 20 minutes.

The delivery is deep and then a shot in a crowded box is cleared off the line.

  6. 'Walton was looking to be brave'published at 20:19 BST 15 September

    Ipswich Town 0-2 Arsenal

    Joe Sheehan
Former Ipswich Town Women manager on BBC Radio Suffolk

Christian Walton was looking to be really brave but against teams of this calibre, if you don't play out and find the passes that you need, they punish you.

Much much better from Liverpool. Rio Ngumoha's through ball is perfect and so is Lewis Koumas' first touch but it's a solid stop from Martin Dubravka. That has energised the Anfield crowd.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:17 BST 15 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham

Now it is Liverpool's turn to have a big chance!

It is two youngsters who combine to almost score as Rio Ngumoha plays a neat ball through the Tottenham defence and Lewis Koumas is onto it.

He has just the goalkeeper to beat but Martin Dúbravka is quick off his line to make the save.

  9. goal

GOAL - Ipswich Town 0-2 Arsenalpublished at 16 mins

    Noni Madueke

This one looks over already. Ipswich goalkeeper Christian Walton tries to play the ball out from the back, but it is a hugely impressive press from Arsenal as they quickly win the ball 30 yards from goal.

It is then played to Noni Madueke, free on the right side of the penalty area, and he arrows a low shot past Walton to double the Gunners' lead.

Ipswich have won against Sunderland and Crystal Palace this season, but folded in a 5-2 loss at Manchester United and were two down against Liverpool in nine minutes.

Against another of the Premier League's big hitters, Ipswich have collapsed early again.

Max Dowman doing Max Dowman things, just making Premier League defenders look foolish. That is ridiculously cool from a 16-year-old and yet we are not surprised.

    Ipswich Town 0-1 Arsenal

It is all Arsenal at Portman Road. The visitors want a penalty when the ball bounces up and hits Abdoul Ouattara's arm after Eberechi Eze's bright run, but it was not given and we do not have VAR in action today so that decision is final.

Spurs know Liverpool won’t go full strength, so why not surprise them and put out their best team? Always makes me wonder why clubs who have realistically only two cups to play for don’t take them seriously.

    Reading 0-1 Brentford

Reading think they have equalised as Paudie O'Connor sends a bicycle kick inside a crowded box into the back of the net, but it is chalked off. His boot was high when he went for the strike.

  14. goal

GOAL - Peterborough 2-2 Barnsleypublished at 40 mins

    Reyes Cleary

What a first half at Peterborough.

This one is all about Barnsley's Reyes Cleary as he runs at the full back down the left wing and is too good as he cuts inside on to his right foot and scores to make it 2-2.

Barnsley led 1-0, Peterborough scored twice, now Barnsley have pulled it level.

With the downpour, Andoni Iraola has put his coat on and I don't think he'll be too happy with what he's seen so far. Liverpool haven't really got going yet and it's Tottenham who are enjoying the early stages.

    What a save!

A low ball in from the left finds Lucas Bergvall unmarked inside the Liverpool box. He seems certain to score but Giorgi Mamardashvili somehow keeps the effort out from close range.

Last year's beaten finalists Arsenal are ahead after only seven minutes and it is a wonderful individual goal from 16-year-old Max Dowman.

He starts the move down the left wing, plays a one-two, shows quick feet to skip past Ipswich defender Cedric Kipre and slot the ball past Christian Walton.

I disagree with the scepticism about resting first team players. It makes sense to use the entire squad. It's an avenue to the first team for youth prospects, an opportunity to shine for rotation players and occasionally sees a breakout performance. Helps a new manager understand the squad, too, surely?
