A minute's silence in memory of Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel, who died earlier this week, will now be observed.

    Celtic v Besiktas (20:00)

This will be Besiktas’ first meeting with a side from Scotland, while their last European away game against a British side was a four-goal defeat to Wolves in December 2019 (0-4 in the Europa League).

  3. 'Let's get after them' - O'Neillpublished at 19:55 GMT

    Celtic v Besiktas (20:00)

Celtic boss Martin O'Neill starts his pre-match interview with TNT Sports by repeating that he's taking consolation from LASK's Champions League results.

"It's been a disappointing start [to the Europa League]," he adds. "We're still in it, that's not being false, but we've really got to win tonight.

"It will be difficult for us. Let's get after them, let's go for it."

There's still 10 minutes to kick off, but there are a lot of green seats on show at Celtic Park.

We knows fans are extremely unhappy with the club's board, and increasingly Martin O'Neill and the players amid a run of three wins in 10.

The Green Brigade have already said they will boycott these matches, and it looks like others are voting with their feet.

An eye-catching Celtic team, it must be said, with full-back Jordan Lotomba coming in for his first start.

A fresh front three of Kasper Hogh, Sebastian Tounekti and James Forrest also come in after Sunday's defeat at Falkirk, as does Benjamin Nygren.

Former Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu got a warm welcome from a few fans on his way in, and goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods, despite not really catching fire when he was in Glasgow. He wasn't afforded too many opportunities, in fairness.

Former Rangers winger Vaclav Cerny is also starting for the visitors - he's in for some stick surely?

Mind when he squirted water at some Celtic fans when Rangers won here a couple of seasons ago?

    Celtic v Besiktas (20:00)

    Thomas Duncan

It was some scene outside Celtic Park before kick-off. As it's Bonfire Night, there were fireworks going off every 30 seconds, all while Besiktas fans were marched from the Merchant City out to the stadium.

There were about 30 police vans, some up from England, to contain the visiting fans, some of whom confronted officers in Glasgow city centre last night.

The Besiktas fans have been packed into the away end since about 18:30, and you can expect them to make a huge noise.

They were certainly doing so as they entered Celtic Park.
