  1. 'Good header' from Isak to put Liverpool in frontpublished at 19:17 GMT

    Fenerbahce 1-2 Liverpool

    Ally McCoist
Former Scotland striker on TNT Sports

Yeah, it's a good header isn't it. I thought that he could put it further back across goal if I was nit picking a little bit. It's a good move, Gakpo gets a bit of room down that left hand side, and then hangs the ball up towards the back-post area

The goalkeeper gets a hand to it doesn't he, but clearly can't keep it out.

    Fenerbahce 1-2 Liverpool

Just like in the first half, Liverpool cause themselves problems as soon as they get ahead.

A pass back to Alisson isn't the easiest to deal with but he'd still hope to do better than thump his clearance straight into Jeremy Jacquet.

The centre-back ends up giving away a free-kick but Liverpool clear and Bradley Barcola leads the counter.

  3. Isak's solid form continuespublished at 19:16 GMT

It's all smiles in the Liverpool dug out. The two substitutes combine and Isak's solid run of form continues. That's his seventh goal of the season. That Liverpool away end is in full voice now.

GOAL - Fenerbahce 1-2 Liverpoolpublished at 69 mins

    Alexander Isak

    That didn't take long!

Two substitutes combine with Cody Gakpo, after exchanging passes with Kostas Tsimikas, gets to the bye-line and hangs up a cross.

Alexander Isak is there waiting and there is too much power on his header from a couple of yards out, Ederson can't keep it out and Liverpool lead again.

Yeah I do, [like the fact that Iraola made three substitutions]. Time will tell, but I just think that it was freshen them up and, it hasn't weakened them it's strengthened them.

Those changes have seen Dominik Szoboszlai go in at right-back. Bradley Barcola has moved out to the right with Cody Gakpo on the left.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 66 mins

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Liverpool

    Yep, here come the cavalry.

Florian Wirtz, Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak are on.

Off go Joe Gomez, Rio Ngumoha and Victor Munoz. Both wingers have been lively without any real reward.

[Victor Munoz] be thinking why didn't I hit that first time.

It's not a bad ball from Gomez and you just have the feeling that Liverpool are getting nearer and nearer.

Nice play from Archie Brown as Fenerbahce come forward again.

The left-back gets past Joe Gomez and shoots right-footed from 20 yards. Dragged wide.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 63 mins

First change of the day from either manager as Dirk Kuyt takes off Romelu Lukaku and sends on in-form striker Vedat Muriqi.

Is it too late for Tuchel to include Nyoni in the next England squad?

Joe Gomez has never scored an official goal for Liverpool - sadly, his penalty in the shootout against Chelsea last week doesn't count - and shows why with a horrible, wayward shot.

The ball comes to him on the edge of the box soon afterwards and this time he tees up Victor Munoz. The Spain winger cuts inside his man before his shot is hacked over the bar by Milan Skriniar.

  14. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Liverpool

A half chance from nothing for Fenerbahce as Victor Munoz tracks back well but then hits his clearance straight at Archie Brown.

The ball drops kindly for the full-back and he forces a save from Alisson. A reminder to Liverpool not to relax.

  15. 'You expect Van Dijk to score'published at 19:03 GMT

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Liverpool

    Ally McCoist

That should've been 2-1. Virgil van Dijk gets the header relatively unchallenged and you expect him to score. He should've.

  16. CLOSE!published at 57 mins

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Liverpool

Two decent efforts in the space of a few seconds for Liverpool.

Firstly, Bradley Barcola cuts in from the left and hits a firm shot that Ederson bundles wide of the post.

From the resulting corner, Virgil van Dijk gets up well and powers a header goalwards. Too close to Ederson.

  17. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Liverpool

Dominik Szoboszlai quite rightly opts again shooting, shifts the ball to Kostas Tsimikas and he crosses to the back post.

Virgil van Dijk tries to head back across goal but Fenerbahce clear and break.

Try Nyoni is there, though, and makes a good tackle to end the counter.

  18. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Liverpool

Much more like the start of the first half than the end of it so far since the break.

Liverpool on top and controlling things form inside the Fenerbahce half.

Another free-kick gives Dominik Szoboszlai a sight of goal. Albeit from fully 35 yards...

Don't understand the hate for Liverpool conceding. Four clean sheets in the league already and the goal conceded tonight was a massive deflection? This is also a rebuild season, looks very promising in my opinion.

More trickiness from Rio Ngumoha and he wins Liverpool a free-kick on the left, in line with the edge of the penalty area.

Another chance to get the box into the box. Wasted. Overhit by Dominik Szoboszlai.
