Dundee ran over the top of Aberdeen last week - and that can't happen again. There needs to be a response.

Aberdeen copped some serious flak for their performance at Dens Park, so there will need to be a reaction today.

The Dons opened with four wins in this tournament and beat Hearts in their league opener at Pittodrie, so last Saturday's weak display came as something of a surprise.

In a quirk of scheduling these two meet again after last weekend's Premiership win for Dundee at Dens Park.

The final score was 2-0 but the margin of victory could have been greater such was the hosts' dominance.

Joe Bevan set up the first, scored the second and tortured the Dons repeatedly, cutting inside from the right wing.

After just two games there are no sides in the bottom tier on maximum points.

Elgin, Spartans and Forfar are the unbeaten teams in the division.

Nicky Clescenco was the Kilmarnock hero last night, clipping home an 89th-minute against Ayr United at a raucous Rugby Park.

The Championship visitors twice took the lead, but Neil McCann's side held their nerve and finished strongly to get the job done.

Dunfermline boss Neil Lennon has made two changes from the 1-1 draw against Ayr United in the Championship last week.

Aston Oxborough returns between the sticks, he replaces Musa Dibaga while John Tod replaces the cup-tied Sam Cleall-Harding in defence.

Ross County have made just one change from their 1-0 win over Peterhead, Connor Randall comes in for Dylan Smith.

Aberdeen hand a debut to new forward Mitchy Ntelo. He replaces Stuart Armstrong in the starting line-up, while Connor Ronan comes in for Alexander Briedl.

Both Armstrong and Briedl are on the bench.

Dundee are, unsurprisingly, unchanged after beating Aberdeen comfortably in last weekend's Scottish Premiership meeting.
