Dundee United haven't done a lot wrong, but Celtic have been clinical.

The first half of an entertaining game has absolutely flown by and it's Celtic who trot off with a healthy lead at the break, thanks to goals from Auston Trusty and Camilo Duran.

United hit the post twice before the deadlock was broken and now it looks like a long way back for the home team.

Kasper Hogh stayed at it and played it out to Camilo Duran well.

He just got over the top of the ball when the cross came in.

Kasper Hogh barges his man off the ball with ease and works it to Camilo Duran, who then repays the favour with a lovely cross to the back post, but Hogh can't force it in from a tight angle.

A slick break from Celtic ends with a first-time shot from Benjamin Nygren, which is blocked.

Good work from Sebastian Tounekti to get the visitors forward, but Nygren didn't quite catch his effort cleanly.

Dundee United have made a great response.

They're on the front foot and putting the pressure on, but they need to make it count.

The VAR team has a look as the arm of Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain intercepts a cross in the Celtic penalty area.

Play on.

United fans not happy. Not happy at all...

Zac Sapsford is not far away from connecting with a dangerous cross to the back post as United try to find a way back from that quick one-two.

Celtic are popping the ball around with a real swagger now as the United fans lament those two early shots that hit the frame of the goal.

That's what Celtic have missed, the ball is fired across, and Kasper Hogh manages to hold off a defender and makes it drop.

Credit to Camilo Duran too for being the first to react and getting his goal.

Once the defender loses the half-yard, you can't make it up.

A good corner from Celtic.

Celtic skipper Callum McGregor drives to the byeline and dinks a cross into the six yard box. Kasper Hogh gets there first but the big striker is underneath the ball and can only head it high over the target.

United midfielder Julius Eskesen picks up the game's first caution for a trip on Sebastian Tounekti.

Dundee United hit the same post as Emmanuel Agyei takes aim with a low, curling effort.

That looked in all the way.

It's a great chance and he'll be disappointed he didn't hit the back of the net.

Dundee United come so close to opening the scoring as Julius Eskesen drives a low shot against the base of the post from 16 yards.

A long throw-in, followed by two headed flicks set up the chance - and what a chance it was!
