Owen Elding is one-on-one with the Thistle goalkeeper after a marvellous pass from Nathan Lowe but a heavy touch allows Liam McFarlane to gets hands on the ball.
It falls to Jamie McGrath 20 yards out, but he can only loft a first-time chip onto the roof of the Thistle net.

The former Aberdeen winger takes a brilliant touch and pokes it past Beau Reus for the equaliser.

That one turn of pace from the substitute is more dynamic than anything the visitors managed in the first half.

"We could just do with winning a game," said Derek McInnes earlier this week.
He can say that again. After four games without a victory, the Rangers boss has made the worst start of any permanent Ibrox manager.
Boos were loud in Govan when McInnes' men were dumped out of Europa League qualifying in midweek, now he's hoping to avoid League Cup elimination.
The League Cup is the only major trophy the experienced coach has won during his managerial career, coming more than a decade ago with Aberdeen.
He has work to do to convince the Rangers support he is the man to bring silverware back to Ibrox on a consistent basis. A win at home to cup holders St Mirren today would be a start.

However, they were given an early scare when Alfie Bavidge volleyed home after an Alfie Stewart cross. The Aberdeen-loanee was offside though.
Shortly after, Hearts were awarded a penalty when Amadou Ba-Sy was fouled. However, that was also ruled out after a VAR intervention decided the contact was outside the box.
Not to be deterred, the hosts scored immediately when Christian Borchgrevink nodded in the rebound after the free-kick hit the wall.
