GOAL Motherwell 1-1 FREIBURGpublished at 19:58 BST 20 August

    Matthias Ginter

    That's a shame.

Derry Scherhant's inswinging free-kick from wide right is nodded on by Ginter.

It is a perfectly placed header, sneaking inside the far post.

    But there's a VAR check...

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:57 BST 20 August

What a save from Hearts goalkeeper Beau Reus!

Lovely one-touch passing from Rapid Vienna puts Matthias Seidl free in the box, he keeps his shot low and on target but the giant Dutchman beats it away at full stretch.

    Crucial.

    Rangers 0-0 Jablonec

Djeidi Gassama skips past a Jablonec defender and fires a shot from the edge of the box which is tipped behind by Jan Hanus for a Rangers corner.

Jablonec deal with the set piece comfortably before giving away a free-kick not far outside the visitors' box.

James Penrice delivers but Jablonec clear before Emmanuel Fernandez is booked for a late challenge on Lamin Jawo.

  5. Freiburg show signs of lifepublished at 19:53 BST 20 August

    Motherwell 1-0 Freiburg

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

The Bundesliga side is slowly starting to find its feet, having only played pre-season friendlies thus far.

It's been a bit of a rude awakening with the loss of that early goal but they've steadied since and now look more assured.

That said, Alex Paulsen has only really been called into meaningful action once.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:53 BST 20 August

    Motherwell 1-0 Freiburg

Joe Hudge hauls down Maximilian Eggestein as he bursts towards the area and is booked for it.

The free-kick is whipped narrowly wide as Motherwell remain in front.

    Rangers 0-0 Jablonec

Jablonec have a free-kick about half way inside the Rangers half after James Penrice's foul on Lamin Jawo.

The ball goes all the way towards the back post where Matej Polidar tries to keep the ball in play but fails.

  8. Postpublished at 19:51 BST 20 August

    Hearts 0-0 Rapid Vienna

We've already had decent chances at both ends.

Calvin Miller cuts in from the right and unleashes a shot which is blocked.

Up the other end, Petter Nosa Dahl gets away from Jordi Altena to head on target for Rapid.

Hearts go again and Josh McPake has a shot blocked from the other side. Frantic.

  9. Ibrox filling up nicelypublished at 19:51 BST 20 August

    Rangers 0-0 Jablonec

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Sport Scotland at Ibrox

Ibrox isn't quite full, there's a section in the lower and upper tier of the Broomloan Stand that's empty, but that aside there is a healthy home support with some supporters still making their way to their seats. The away fans are in the corner of Broomloan .. all 20 (odd) of them.

  10. 'I can't see Jablonec beating Rangers'published at 19:50 BST 20 August

    Rangers 0-0 Jablonec

    Tom English
    BBC Scotland's chief sports writer

I didn't fancy Rangers in the last round, there's too many unknowns in the squad. They've brought in 11 in the last few weeks, it's not settled down.

Every game will be a journey into the unknown until McInnes beds his team down, until they know each other better.

    I'm confident they'll get through this tie. I can't see Jablonec beating them - they're a mid-tier Czech side.

It would be embarrassing if Rangers were to mess this up. They should be winning this tie.

  11. Postpublished at 19:49 BST 20 August

    Hearts 0-0 Rapid Vienna

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle

Spine-tingling introduction for the players as the fans belt out the Hearts song.

Can the players rise to the occasion?

  12. Postpublished at 19:49 BST 20 August

    Rangers 0-0 Jablonec

Daisuke Yokota plays a hopeful ball forward but there's no Rangers player up to retrieve it.

The ball ends up back with Ivor Pandur who, under pressure from Jan Suchan, passes the ball straight out of play from a Jablonec throw-in.

Rangers defend it well but a bright start for the visitors.

  13. Postpublished at 19:49 BST 20 August

    Gent 0-0 Hibernian

    Amy Canavan
BBC Sport Scotland at Planet Group Arena

That has really taken the wind out of the travelling supporters' sails.

Owen Elding could've sparked bedlam there.

  14. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 19:47 BST 20 August

    Gent 0-0 Hibernian

Owen Elding steps up... and he's missed!

He blasted it low and hard to the keeper's right but Davy Roef, the Gent captain, produces a brilliant save.

Huge opportunity blown for David Gray's side.

A couple of minutes late, Hearts get us up and running.

  16. PENALTY to Hibspublished at 19:45 BST 20 August

    Gent 0-0 Hibernian

Warren O'Hora has been completely wiped out in the box and the referee is quick to award the penalty has been awarded.

In fairness, it's as clear a penalty as you'll see.

  17. Home fans are in shockpublished at 19:44 BST 20 August

    Motherwell 1-0 Freiburg

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

I think the home supporters are in shock here. It's gone a bit quiet as they come to terms with just how well their side has started against the Europa League runners-up.

Nearly 15 minutes in and they're a goal to the good. The dream of group stage European football very much alive.

  18. Postpublished at 19:44 BST 20 August

    Motherwell 1-0 Freiburg

Matthias Ginter, part of Germany's World Cup-winning squad in 2014, nearly sweeps in from a cross ball but gets his footing a bit wrong.

It's been all Freiburg since Motherwell's opener.

  19. Goal fest in store at Tynecastle?published at 19:42 BST 20 August

    Hearts v Rapid Vienna (19:45)

    Thomas Duncan
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle

The sun is beaming through the top of the stands at Tynecastle as the old stadium prepares for a massive night.

Hearts are scoring goals, Rapid Vienna hit eight at the weekend, so a few will have this one down as a goal-fest.

    Let's hope so.

  20. CLOSE!published at 19:41 BST 20 August

    Motherwell 1-0 Freiburg

Ooft, Igor Matanovic nearly levels for the visitors.

Derry Scherhant ghosts past a few defenders and has his attempt blocked before Matanovic's close-range effort is deflected over.

Nothing doing from the resulting corner.
