    How are Leeds not ahead?

Great ball by Sean Longstaff to send Dominic Calvert-Lewin into the box. He turns one defender, but can't find the space for the shot so passes to Ao Tanaka, but he scoops his shot over the bar.

A huge chance for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

He just heads it towards the goal and Dominic Solanke just gets in the way of it.

A huge let off there for Spurs.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:43 GMT

Pedro Porro is booked as he goes into tackle on James Justin with his studs showing. He does get the ball first, but the feet are high.

Roberto De Zerbi isn't happy and both he and Porro are booked.

Two big chances for Leeds as Dominic Calvert-Lewin's header from a corner is blocked by Dominic Solanke, Nico Elvedi then nods wide on the follow up.

Oooh Micky van de Ven (and my Fantasy Premier League team) will be mightily relieved to see his clearance from a corner prod the right side of the post and behind for a corner. Could just have easily have gone in.

  6. 'Bogle should have been dismissed'published at 13:39 GMT

    Danny Murphy

We saw similar red cards recently for Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ryan Sessegnon, where I don’t think there was any real intent to hurt the opponent. I wouldn’t necessarily mind a world where that doesn’t result in a sending off but the way the laws are, if they are red cards then Jayden Bogle should also have been dismissed.

  7. 'Not a red card in real time'published at 13:37 GMT

    Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

During the game I thought the Jayden Bogle challenge on Mathys Tel was a yellow. It's mistimed. He's gone to tackle with his right foot and caught tell with his left foot. This is the problem we have - the game is not played in slow motion. In real time for me, I'm not thinking that's a red card by any means.

But if the referee is sent to the screen it's a red card. As soon as he went to the screen last week for Jean-Philippe Mateta it becomes a red. I think they tried to protect the ref. I think in real time it's looked like a booking. It's not violent play, he hasn't tried to go over the top of him. I think he's tried to make a tackle with his right foot and it's his left which has caught the player. That's why it took so long they didn't want him to go over and see the screen.

Leeds aren't on a good run at the moment they won't want to lose another game.

They won't want the game to fully open up.

  10. 'Bogle was fortunate'published at 13:36 GMT

    HT: Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

    Darren Cann
Former Premier League assistant referee on BBC Sport

Jayden Bogle was, in my opinion, very fortunate to escape a red card for a challenge on Mathys Tel. Bogle stood on the back of Tel’s Achilles and the challenge was similar to Ryan Sessegnon’s red card challenge for Fulham against Hull a few weeks ago.

Bogle’s challenge meets the criteria for serious foul play as he endangers the safety of an opponent, and he can consider himself lucky to still be on the pitch.

Tel needed lengthy treatment which enabled the VAR to closely consider a red card but ultimately it was decided the challenge didn’t meet the threshold for a sending off.

  11. 'If the penalty is given it is a problem'published at 13:31 GMT

    HT: Leeds 0-0 Tottenham

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

I looked at it and thought he's tried to get the ball on his chest. Trying the best to get it on his chest. I think it hits him on the shoulder and does not run down his arm. I think it's a good decision. I really feel if that penalty is given it is a problem.

We can see from one angle where it's hit him on the shoulder. It's hitting that shoulder, not further down the sleeve. Fernandes is trying to pull his arm away which helps him with the on-field referee decision.

These long throws are taking ages to set up.

    Phil McNulty

Spurs will not only feel Leeds United should be down to ten men after Jayden Bogle's late challenge on Mathys Tel, the winger now looks crestfallen after being unable to carry on.

Dominic Solanke is on, hopefully to liven up what had been a rather dull affair until that incident.

Mohammed Kudus drives a ball across the six-yard box and it flashes inches ahead of Archie Gray's foot but the ex-Leeds man can't react in time. If he did, that would have been a sure goal against his boyhood club.

In my opinion that tackle from Bogle was worse than Mateta’s last week. I am not saying Mateta should not have been sent off. VAR inconsistency again. No yellow as well.
