  3. 'Madueke is an example to rest of the group'published at 17:43 GMT

    FT: Arsenal 1-0 Hull

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to Sky Sports on how his side found their win: "Consistency and keep going. We talked about this that it will happen at some point to break them down. We had some big moments that in my opinion we should have scored some goals but we don't hit the target, we don't get the final pass. So many situations where if you don't do that you have to rely on generating so much volume and at some point relying that you will get them down and that's the way we won the game.

"It's something that is happening a lot, and a few games as well we have been 1-0 down very early and we still manage to do that. Getting results is very, very important and I think we need to praise our players for the way they go about every single game. We have done really well from the international break up to this point."

On Noni Madueke: "He's a great example for the rest of the group because before the first international break he wasn't playing. And what he did is instead of going on holidays he went to Portugal and got somebody to train with him and got in better shape and condition and immediately he got back into the rhythm. You can see now he is full of confidence and trying things and getting past players and he's impacting games with goals and assists and we are very happy with that."

On the decision not to award Arsenal a penalty: "I don't know, I was confused because when the referee went to the monitor I thought it was because it was a clear penalty. But they made a different decision based off the offside so I don't know, we don't have any clarity yet about the decision."

  11. Tottenham set to make complaintpublished at 17:36 GMT

    FT: Leeds 1-0 Tottenham

    Sami Mokbel
    BBC Sport Senior football correspondent

Tottenham are set to submit a formal complaint amid anger at referee John Brooks’ decision not to show Leeds defender Jayden Bogle a red card following his studs-up challenge on Mathys Tel.

Bogle escaped a sending off in the first-half despite replays showing he’d caught Tel on the back of the ankle with a late challenge.

Brooks did not book the Leeds defender and the incident was reviewed lengthily by VAR but the original decision stood with the referee not sent to the touchline screen to re-evaluate the challenge

Spurs attacker Tel was subsequently substituted off before half-time.

  19. Is City's honeymoon period over?published at 17:24 GMT

Nottm Forest v Man City (17:30 GMT)

Manchester City got back to winning ways in Europe in midweek after a three-game spell that included two league defeats - to Aston Villa and Brighton - and needing penalties to get past Brighton in the Carabao Cup.

But even to do that they twice lost the lead and it all seemed like a bit of an uphill battle.

After such a strong start to the season, has the bubble burst on Enzo Maresca's honeymoon period? Or can they recover?

A big opportunity to return to winning ways in the league today against a struggling Forest side.

Enzo Maresca continues to insist that Gianluigi Donnarumma is his number one, despite the goalkeeper making a number of mistakes in recent weeks.

He was at fault for RB Leipzig's first goal, getting beaten at his near post, while there were a couple of other nervy moments that almost led to goals.

It feels like Donnarumma is making a mistake in almost every game at the moment. City's last clean sheet in any competition was on 11 October against Liverpool (3-0) in the Premier League.
