It feels like the chance doesn't get any better than this evening for Luke Humphries.
Rock 3-4 Humphries
This hasn't been the highest quality game you'll see this year. Both are averaging about 90.
Rock 3-4 Humphries
Josh Rock keeps up the pressure, but ends up on a bogey number of 168 with no way out.
He hits 100, but Luke Humphries only has 40 left. Humphries sees off the leg on tops.
Rock 3-3 Humphries
Josh Rock is the first down to a finish, with 90 left as Luke Humphries is back on 215.
He ends up leaving tops as Humphries powers in 99 to keep up the pressure.
But Rock needs just one dart at the double to level.

Laser focus but his first dart at double sixteen goes into the single.
He then pins double eight.

That excellent 124 out lifted Humphries' average to 90.
Josh Rock is at around 82.
Work to do for both, you feel.

Oh my! That could change the mood music here in Leeds.

20, treble 18 and the bullseye for Luke Humphries as he gets a ton-plus finish to level it up.
Rock 2-1 Humphries
This one has been relatively slow so far.
Josh Rock has a dart at tops - eventually - but goes over. Luke Humphries them misses one at double 16.
Three more darts from Rock, but he ends up going outside on double 10.
Three more missed darts at double from Humphries, before Rock wraps it up on double five.
The outer ring is proving a bit of an issue so far.
Rock 1-1 Humphries
Safe to say Josh Rock's scoring wasn't at the same heights in that leg.
Before he has any chance to have darts at a finish, Luke Humphries wraps it up on double 16.
Rock 1-0 Humphries

Rock has 81 left and sets up a finish on the bullseye, but hits the single.
Luke Humphries has 72 remaining but can't see it off, hitting 25 as he searches for the bull.
Missed darts at double eight and double four, though, from Josh Rock give Humphries a lifeline.
Humphries can't see it off. Rock misses another at double four, then pins it.
I had visions of this becoming another Littler-Van Gerwen for a minute.

There were plenty of Leeds United-themed items on show from the fans there as Luke Humphries made his way on to the stage.
The reigning Premier League champion took a few sips of his water before milking the crowd as his walk-on song continued.
And who could blame him? This is a big one for Cool Hand.

The 25-year-old failed to win any of his first seven games in the event.
But the Northern Irishman has won four of his past six quarter-final games.
Although, with just eight points to his name, it's now or never as far as his faint play-off hopes are concerned.
He could well be eliminated tonight, but even if that is the case, he will still have table position to play for.
For those who fail to make finals night, the prize money is as follows:
5th place - £95,000
6th place - £90,000
7th place - £85,000
8th place - £80,000
The £10,000 nightly prize also remains on offer, something Rock is yet to achieve this season, along with Gian van Veen and his quarter-final opponent Luke Humphries.
So there's everything to play for as far as Rock is concerned.

Last week will have given Luke Humphries a massive confidence boost.
I thought his pace and rhythm was intriguing last week. He's clearly working on his game.
Time is sort of running out but the bottom four have an opportunity tonight.
The home heroes have fallen at the first hurdle a fair bit this season but I fancy him to do really well tonight.

Reigning Premier League champion Luke Humphries gave his play-off hopes a boost last time out by reaching the final on night 13 in Aberdeen.
He still has work to do to make the top four, but this is a place he loves.
He is in the home of his beloved Leeds United, and Cool Hand will undoubtedly have plenty of support tonight.
It's also worth noting that Humphries has won the night in Leeds in each of the past two seasons.
What a time to extend that to three years in a row, and more importantly, to claim a first nightly win of the season and give your to four hopes an enormous boost.
Two games, two wins for the top two in Jonny Clayton and Luke Littler.
Defeats for Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen in third and fourth.
Time to see who in the chasing pack will close the gap and potentially end the night in the top four.
Result: Littler 6-5 Van Gerwen

Luke Littler gave a huge head nod, if that's what you call it, when he hit a 140 midway through that deciding leg.
He knows how significant that win was, especially after MVG rallied from 4-1 down to make it 4-4.
Well done to both there. That was magnificent viewing.
Littler 6-5 Van Gerwen
Image source, PA MediaExcruciating for Michael van Gerwen. A few trebleless visits cause him a lot of damage.
Luke Littler leaves tops as Michael van Gerwen has 243 left.
Van Gerwen gets down to 103, but it doesn't matter. Littler only needs one dart to wrap it up.
