Cameron Bancroft is hopping around at the crease as a ball from Brydon Carse whacks into his pads, but he'll be relieved to see the leg before shout that followed ignored by the umpire.

Bancroft clipped a leg-side boundary from Carse earlier in the over and he finishes it with another four, dispatched through the covers to advance to 34.

A third game in Division Two is called off for the day.

This has been a really good knock by Miles Hammond, who pulls Brydon Carse for four and then turns him away on the leg-side to collect another three runs and post his half-century.

It's the seventh time Hammond has been past 50 this season - which is no mean feat in a side struggling as severely as Gloucestershire have been.

Depends on the individual, Louise. Some head for an indoor net, hit the gym, play cards, stream shows, watch sport on TV, some might have uni work, fantasy football, have a nap, you name it...

Matthew Revis calls for sand to help repair a footmark midway through his fifth over and promptly splashes through it.

Miles Hammond gets things moving again, though, latching onto a short ball from Ben Stokes and thrashing it around the corner for four runs to take him to 39.

Stokes responds with a fuller delivery that strikes the left-hander on the pads from around the wicket, but the angle meant it looked likely to be missing the stumps and his appeal is turned down.
