After a comfortable win in the women's final earlier, Trent Rockets are aiming to complete the double.

They have already secured the Helix for the top combined team across the men's and women's formats so the Rockets could leave Lord's with three trophies later this evening...

Manchester Super Giants are unchanged from their win over Sunrisers Leeds in the Eliminator but there is one, slightly surprising, change for Trent Rockets.

Matt Henry misses out with Mohammad Amir replacing. No injury, it's a tactical decision apparently.

Manchester Super Giants won the toss and will bowl first. The first ball is just 15 minutes away.

We have news from Lord's where the toss has just taken place for the men's final.

Manchester Super Giants have won it and captain Jos Buttler wants to chase.

So it'll be Trent Rockets batting first when play begins at 18:00 BST.

Trent Rockets are Women's Hundred champions after one of the most one-sided finals in recent memory.

Sunrisers all-rounder Annabel Sutherland on BBC Two: "I would much rather be standing up on that stage but it is what it is. It wasn't our day. Finals can go that way. Losing the toss certainly made it harder and a couple of poor dismissals across the line."

Ash Gardner has made her way up onto the podium where her team-mates are already waiting.

The Rockets captain lifts the trophy high above her head and the golden confetti bursts into the sky.

Rockets end with eight wins from nine matches. Very worthy champions for 2026.

It has not all been about the big names for Trent Rockets either.

Samantha Bates, the uncapped Australian picked up for £15,000, finishes at the tournament's leading wicket-taker.

Another who has never played for her country, domestic player Charley Phillips, snuck in with nine wickets too.

A mention for Nat Sciver-Brunt too. The England captain, in tears on this ground when England lost in the T20 World Cup final to Australia, has been able to slip under the radar slightly, with attention on Sophia Dunkley, Ash Gardner and others.

She still finishes with an average of 49.25 across six matches.

It's time for Trent Rockets to get their hands on the trophy...

Trent Rockets batter Beth Mooney, speaking to BBC Two: "I don't really like losing so I must just switch on and watch the ball better [in knockout cricket] - I probably need to sort the other games out so I get asked back!

"The way we played throughout this tournament is unreal. It's just been a calm, relaxed nature to how we've gone about it, even this morning we were saying 'not many times you get to play in a final at Lord's' but we were still calm.

"Thankfully, we got over the line."

The Trent Rockets players are now on their lap of honour. They can take their time too. The men's game doesn't begin until 6pm!

Trent Rockets captain Ash Gardner, speaking to BBC Two: "It's obviously awesome, we've been here for almost three months now so to come away with two trophies [The Hundred and Women's T20 World Cup] is the cherry on top.

"We've been really clinical throughout, so to be walking away and going home after a long time with two trophies is awesome."

On reasons for success: "I just think when you look at our side, we are probably the oldest side in the competition and that just lends itself to having people to stay calm in a run chase or with the ball in hand.

"I've got some fantastic people around me."

Trent Rockets seamer Kim Garth, speaking to BBC Two: "Awesome. What a way to finish. Pretty convincing win in the end. To turn up and play like that, win eight out of nine games, is awesome.

"Probably a bit too long [between last group game and the final] but good to get away and have a bit of a break, then come back and get the job done."

You can't get a more dominant performance in a final.

Brilliant with the ball, fantastic in the field and really well led by Ash Gardner. Fitting that she's out there at the end, seeing her team over the line.

Such a professional display all year, seven wins on the trot.

Ash Gardner and Beth Mooney had already won the T20 World Cup with Australia this summer. Back at Lord's, they've won again.

"We are probably the oldest team in the competition and that leads to people staying calm and composed," says captain Gardner.

Trent Rockets won the toss, came out and were tight with the ball and put the pressure on from ball one.

They look like a team that has gelled very quickly and performed.

"It's been the best three weeks ever," says all-rounder Georgia Elwiss.
