1. Rockets 38-0published at 28 balls

Liam Dawson is into the attack and beats Ben Duckett on the inside edge with a beauty.

The Rockets left-hander responds well, nailing a hard sweep through square leg for four.

Trent Rockets haven't got to a flyer but they are no wickets down. They have power in the middle order and can make the most of their start.

Paul Walter is a huge man. He is a monster.

  4. Rockets 33-0published at 25 balls

Gus Atkinson goes again, he'll only have five balls left for later in the innings but he's bowled nicely so Jos Buttler sticks with him.

After three good balls, Atkinson errs for the first time with a full toss on leg stump. It gets the treatment from Finn Allen, who heaves it away for four.

Allen then crunches a blistering cover drive to end the powerplay but Paul Walter dives to his left to make a superb one-handed stop.

    That one will definitely sting!

  5. Rockets 25-0published at 20 balls

There's a good crowd in at Lord's for this final but they're still waiting for this innings to really get going.

Good tight bowling from the Super Giants so far but no wickets to show for it yet.

Ben Duckett has managed to move himself to the top of the list for all-time run-scorers in The Hundred, though, with his 15 so far in this innings.

The Super Giants will be pleased with this start. Yes, they'd have liked a wicket but just the three boundaries so far.

  7. Rockets 23-0published at 16 balls

We're going to have a brief delay because Ben Duckett has broken his bat in trying to flay Josh Tongue through the covers.

As it is, the ball dribbles into the off side.

Ah, forget that delay, the 12th man is out quickly with the replacement.

Ben Duckett has scored 123 runs with the scoop shot across his Hundred career, more than double that of second place Harry Brook (55 runs).

  9. Rockets 23-0published at 15 balls

Good comeback from Gus Atkinson after that six, three dots to end his second set of five balls.

    Pretty even contest so far.

That's one of Ben Duckett's favourite strokes. Magnificent.

  11. 6 runs

    Rockets 23-0published at 12 balls

    Superb from Ben Duckett!

Full and straight from Gus Atkinson but the Rockets opener is across his stumps and ramps it effortlessly over the wicketkeeper, all the way for six.

  12. Rockets 16-0published at 10 balls

    Duckett 8, Allen 6

Big swing and a miss from Ben Duckett as Josh Tongue angles a 91mph delivery across the left-hander.

There is a hint of width again next ball and Duckett won't miss twice in a row, crunching this one through the covers for four.

Nice shot. Allen didn't have to do too much, just help it on its' way.

  14. Rockets 11-0published at 7 balls

Finn Allen registers the first boundary of this final, flicking a leg-stump half-volley down to fine leg for four.

Not an ideal start for Josh Tongue with a wide followed by a boundary. But his third ball is on the money and defended back to him by Allen.

  15. How's stat?!published at 18:05 BST 16 August

Manchester Super Giants pacers have bowled 388 deliveries over 85 mph across the tournament, more than 100 balls more than the next highest side.

Opponents Trent Rockets, by contrast, have bowled just three deliveries over the 85 mph mark, by far the lowest for any side (Phoenix next lowest with 46 balls).

  16. Rockets 6-0published at 5 balls

There's a bit of movement for Gus Atkinson and he forces a play and miss from Ben Duckett with the first legal ball of the innings.

Duckett settles in after that, though, and it's six from the first five with a couple of dabs sent down towards deep third.

I don't think we will see the kind of scores we see at the The Oval. The Rockets have got to find a way to get into this game.

When you bat first it is so important you create a bit of calmness in the dugout.

  18. Rockets 1-0published at 0 balls

Something of an anti-climax after the big countdown at Lord's as Gus Atkinson starts with a wide down the leg side.

  19. Postpublished at 18:00 BST 16 August

Finn Allen and Ben Duckett are the Trent Rockets openers, they're heading to the middle with purpose.

Manchester Super Giants have got a bowling attack filled with quality and Gus Atkinson will bowl the first five balls of this men's final.

    Here we go!

The fireworks are going off at Lord's, leaving smoke filling the air at the home of cricket, and that can mean only one thing... the men's final is almost upon us!
