    Ah, that's a lovely moment! Muhammad Abbas finally has his five-wicket haul at Lord's.

    Another sharp take from Rizwan standing up to the stumps as Ollie Robinson gets a faint edge, and Abbas is absolutely thrilled. Pakistan are way behind in the game but they all share in his joy, sprinting in for hugs and high-fives.

    He's bowled beautifully in both innings.

    Top, top knock from Dan Lawrence in these challenging conditions. Lawrence continues his excellent form this summer at the back of his good run for Surrey in the Country Championship.

    In all first-class matches this year, he has scored 910 runs in 16 innings at an average of 60.7 with five hundreds & two fifties. His 60.7 average in 2026 so far is his best in a calendar year in first-class matches since his debut in 2015.

  5. This game at Lord's wasn't the only one impacted by the weather yesterday. I'm sure many of you would've seen the situation between Durham and Gloucestershire, where play was called off for bad light when Durham needed just four runs to win.

    Yes, four.

    Anyway, it's taken them one minute and 45 seconds to wrap up the victory this morning as Matthew Potts hit a boundary in the first over.

    Dan Lawrence's fine knock comes to an end and it's another beauty from Muhammad Abbas.

    The perfect line and length and it nips off the seam to shoot between Lawrence's bat and pad - not much he could do about that.

    Abbas has his fourth wicket and another chance to get himself on the honours board.

    A squeal of anguish from Mohammad Ali as he attempts a short ball, but there's so little pace in the pitch that it sits up nicely for Ollie Robinson to pull for four.

    With all the talk of who is in the middle order. It’s finally great to have someone in Cox and Lawrence who appear to have the game to be able to put pressure on the likes of Bethall, Brook and Smith to produce. Rather than just an expectation to play.

    There's so much time left in the game. If the forecast was terrible all day today like yesterday then you'd think the message would be to go out there and clear the boundary. But I imagine this pitch will be similar and doing a bit. And you have four England bowlers chomping at the bit to go out there and get some wickets.

    Dan Lawrence and Ollie Robinson are in the middle.

  16. Because of all the time that has been lost, we've got revised timings again for today.

    Lunch will be taken at 13:15 BST, and the afternoon session will be from 13:55 until tea at 16:10.

    The evening session will be a long one, depending on the light, starting at 16:30 and they could play up until 19:00. That'll be 98 overs in the day (as if).

  19. Dan Lawrence played brilliantly for his unbeaten, counter-attacking fifty and alongside Harry Brook's 34 has helped England into a commanding position.

    With plenty of debate around England's middle order and what might happen with the likes of Lawrence and Jordan Cox when Jacob Bethell is fit again, former England skipper Michael Vaughan backed the 29-year-old to keep his place.
