Dillon Pennington with a really tight maiden over to Archie Vaughan and he finds the outside edge with the penultimate delivery but it drops short of first slip.

Somerset are just trying to inch closer to the 200 mark.

He's needed to be patient, but Nathan McSweeney finally reaches his third century for Northamptonshire, turning Graeme van Buuren for a single.

McSweeney's scored at exactly one run every two balls overall, but he's produced some classy strokes in this innings. Now, can he go on and turn it into a big one?

Despite Glamorgan's batting, it's not a 'ball with your name on it' pitch.

We've got a brief break in play as the umpires inspect a box of balls. Looks like the original ball has suffered some damage and they're going to change it up.

Jordan Cox has taken a bit of a back seat since tea, with Matt Critchley taking over chief run-scoring duties since his arrival at the crease.

Critchley has been tucking into Rehan Ahmed's bowling, hammering him for six and then straight-driving for a four, with 17 in all coming from the leg-spinner's over.

Here comes Ryan Hadley for his first bowl of the innings.

The Australian finds the edge of Tom Haines' bat but the ball flies down to third man for four.

Ekansh Singh plays a lovely straight drive to send it back down the ground past Jimmy Anderson for his first boundary of the innings.

Kent are going to need a fair few more of those to recover this.

Jordan Hermann almost goes in what would have been disappointing fashion given how well he's batted for 84 up until now.

Hermann tries to pull a short one from Mohammad Ali but completely mistimes it.

It loops up and agonisingly over the outstretched arm of Jack Haynes at mid-wicket and Hermann can pick up a single.

Ollie Robinson reaches for a wide one from Ben Aitchison and drives through the covers, but is kept to a single by the fielder in the deep. It's enough to take Durham's total to 200, though.

Far too wide from Zain ul Hassan and Daniel Hughes cover drives again for four. Hughes is 22 not out and Tom Haines has 31.

"Sussex are going along far too comfortably for Glamorgan's liking," says BBC Radio Wales Sport's Nick Webb.

It has taken him 19 balls, but finally Archie Vaughan is off the mark for Somerset as he nudges one into the offside from the final ball of Liam Patterson-White's over to pick up a single and retain the strike.

Jordan Hermann might just have a century in his sights now as he plays a nice off-drive from Liam Patterson-White and it flies for four.

He then picks up another single to move onto 83*. Just another 17 needed for Hermann for the ton.

Kent were ticking along very nicely in the hour before tea but now they have very much reverted back to the scoreboard moving slowly as Lancashire apply pressure.

Two new batters at the crease in Ekansh Singh and Bertie Foreman who have to try and play themselves in.

And more importantly, it's a case of not giving up any more wickets for the visitors for now.
