Geddes lbw b Balderson 28 (Middx 151-5 v Lancs)
Ooh, Ben Geddes is a touch unfortunate here surely.
George Balderson raps the pad fairly high up and with a delivery that looks as though it might be going over leg stump but the decision is out.
Good start for the Red Rose this morning.
Agarwal b Sanderson 36 (Northants v Durham 157-4)
A big nip-backer. A hint of chop-on.
Mayank Agarwal's debut knock is done as he is undone by a combination of Ben Sanderson's guile and maybe a bit of bat.
With the keeper up, Agarwal is rooted in his crease and gets a bit tied up as the ball jags back at him. Down comes an angled bat and maybe helps it on its way towards trimming the bails off middle and off.
Ben Stokes comes out. Along with the sun.
Middx 151-4 v Lancs
Ryan Higgins edges Jimmy Anderson but Matty Hurst dives across Keaton Jennings at first slip and, between the two of them, the chance goes down.
Surrey v Yorkshire 157-7
Another lovely cover drive from Dom Bess for four.
He and Yadav Kuldeep have now added 44 in the second notable partnership of the innings
Essex v Sussex 231-8
Jack Leaning's half century took 94 balls and arrived with a firm push to the long on boundary of Zaman Ahkter. It is the 33rd of his first class career.
Northants v Durham 157-3
Lovely way to bring up the Durham 150 from David Bedingham.
Not a bad delivery from Luke Procter, fraction short of a good length, just outside off stump, and Bedingham goes up on to his toes, rides the bounces and plays the crispiest back-foot punch out to the cover fence.
Beautiful.
Two balls later, he repeats it.
He's a brilliant player.
Hants v Warks 146-1
Hampshire desperately need wickets and yet they only have two slips in place.
Rob Yates has edged one straight through the vacant third clip area after being turned around by Eddie Jack.
Hants v Warks 142-1
Play is starting fifteen minutes late at Southampton. The good news for Hampshire is Kyle Abbott is bowling.
He was off the field for much of day one due to a bruised finger.

The Nottinghamshire opening pair have put 50 on for the loss of no wicket in the fifteenth over.
Ben Slater brings up the half-century with a glance off the hip for four off Josh Davey, down to fine leg, aided by a misfield on the boundary by Hamza Sheikh.
The Notts pair did well to battle through the gloomy weather yesterday, and have got off for a good start this morning.
Kent 238 v Worcestershire 85-2
Promotion-contenders Kent will want some early breakthroughs this morning to wrestle back the late momentum that Worcestershire grabbed yesterday.
Hasan Mahmud has been on the money so far, Adam Hose controlling a slightly edgy dab down to third man for the first boundary of the day.
Dan Letegan played well on day one for his 35. He's added a single so far.
Hollman b Anderson 54 (Middx 141-4 v Lancs)
Big breakthrough early on for Lancs and it is that man Jimmy Anderson again with his third of the match.
Crucially, it is also that man Luke Hollman who had batted well for his half century but has been undone by a hint of inswing and a delivery which keeps a little lower than he thought.
Surrey v Yorks 142-7
Dom Bess drives one through the covers to the boundary.
Yorkshire's 8th wicket pair are threatening to frustrate Surrey's bowlers having added 29 so far.
Gloucs 69-5
After just 2.2 overs, rain stops play in Bristol.
James Bracey and Ed Middleton put on seven runs during the short opening spell of play for the loss of no wicket, before the umpires deemed the rain too heavy to continue.

Nice start first up for Durham who take nine of the opening over of the day from Luke Procter.
India's Mayank Agarwal collected a couple of well-controlled boundaries in that first set of six.

Somerset 92-0 v Glam 194
Umpires will have a look at 10:45 after a drizzly start to the day but the covers are being peeled off the square and there is a lot of warming up going on on the outfield so fingers crossed.
Goodman lbw b Cook 22 (Essex v Sussex 213-8)
Bang on the money first ball.
Sam Cook is in no need of a loosener and pins Dom Goodman at the very start of day two, firing it through as the batsman falls over slightly trying to clip to leg.
Goodman had batted well in difficult conditions last night to make 22 but his day will be one of fielding now.

Sussex opener Dan Hughes insisted his side had showed “fight” to avoid being bowled out for 150 in conditions that made batting incredibly hard at Chelmsford on day one.
Tricky overcast conditions with the floodlights on all day probably made Sussex’s 213-7 one of the batting efforts of the day against an always potent Essex line-up.
“It looked like we were only going to get 150, but the guys showed some fight. It wasn’t easy to score out there It was a bit of a slow wicket. It was just a bit of a grind.
“Hopefully we can get a batting bonus point in the morning and then get as many runs as possible from there.
“It was a grind but it’s good that we showed a bit of fight.”
Essex bowling coach Doug Hondo praised Jamie Porter who took 3-32. "It’s been a quick turnover, we last played two days ago, so Jamie was ready," he said.
"It was just a matter of switching on the mental side and you see what can be done with short preparation.
Durham 129-3 v Northants

Following yesterday's rain - and the loss of 49 overs - we have an extended day today with 104 overs on the schedule.
The forecast is good, so as long as the light holds, we should get them in. It's warm too and I imagine we will see a lot of spin bowling today.
In the 30 overs possible yesterday, the spinners were brought into action very early in the proceedings and the ball was going around corners. There's plenty of low bounce too.
Despite that David Bedingham resumes on 57 runs and now has 1,000 runs in a championship season for the fourth time.
Glous 62-5 v Derby
James Bracey calls for hard work and partnerships on the second day in Bristol.
Gloucestershire, who are bottom of the second division by a staggering 50 points, struggled after electing to bat first and slumping to 62-5 in a rain affected first day against Derbyshire.
Wickets were shared between frontline seamers Brett Randell (2-11) and Ben Aitchison (1-23), while Shoaib Bashir also finished with 2-14.
Despite the difficult start, Gloucestershire's Bracey, currently 25 not out, still believes batting first was the correct way to go.
'We decided to bat first because we think the pitch is going to turn more as the game progresses. It's been tricky with the weather around for the last few days and the pitch under the covers, and it did help the seamers to begin with.
But we have a world-class spinner in Kai Kishore in our ranks and we want to try and get the best out of him. Given the balance of our side, we're hopeful that this is still the right way to go.
We now need to post something that means we can use the conditions to our advantage in the fourth innings."

Lancashire bowling coach Kabir Ali described Jimmy Anderson was “an absolute genius” after the celebrated veteran returned to the fold with two wickets at Northwood.
But he added that they were in need of more magic this morning if the visitors are to get a grip of the game against Middlesex.
Anderson struck with two beauties to dismiss Sam Robson and Max Holden with George Balderson getting a third to leave Middx 139-3 at the close of a rain interrupted day.
"It's always a pleasure to have Jimmy. He is an absolute genius with the ball and the first two wickets were very good balls,” said Ali.
“Hopefully we get them out tomorrow morning or tomorrow afternoon and then put a decent total up.
“The wicket has got a little bit in it, so as long as you get your areas right there is always a bit of action. Hopefully tomorrow morning some early wickets will set us up nicely.”
