Joe Root is still smiling just about but the frustration is building. Muhammad Abbas has just looked away, leant back and sliced the ball over the slips.

Ollie Robinson is doing some stretches.

Razaullah is quite a discovery! Going to be around for a while I hope.

85 is the lowest score ever defended in the fourth innings of a men's Test, if you're a worried England fan and following.

  4. Pak 358-8published at 82.1 overs

Eh?! A reverse sweep for four from Muhammad Abbas...

Dan Lawrence is continuing after drinks with the new ball.

If Josh Tongue bowls it full and absolutely straight, I think he's got a chance here. Razaullah's pacing around in the crease, like a man furiously chopping down a tree with a large axe.

  7. drinks break

    Drinks - Pak 354-8published at 82 overs

Somehow the remainder of Josh Tongue's over results in five dots, despite Razaullah continuing to swing at everything. Tongue doesn't quite get his accuracy right to knock over the stumps.

England have got to bowl the off-stump line to Razaullah. Let him flinch, let him move around. What they're trying to do is just follow him and that has not really given England the desired result. He's got 32 off nothing.

    Very good, Steven...

Razaullah has hit 19 sixes in his first-class career and averages a six every 25 balls faced.

  12. new ball

England have now taken the second new ball. In come the slips and a gully.

  13. Pak 350-8published at 81 overs

    Lead by 30

It's a bit too flat from Dan Lawrence. The closest England come to a wicket is after a mix-up between these two lower-order batters. Both of them end up running without their bat.

  14. Pak 349-8published at 80 overs

England aren't taking the new ball - not yet at least. Joe Root, instead, is going to see what Razaullah does against the spin of Dan Lawrence.

    I don't hate it.

Razaullah had four sixes in the first 20 balls. Only four others have done this and only one against England, Lance Cairns. The only other Pakistan player to do it is Misbah-ul-Haq.

The new ball is now available to England. Razaullah might just hit it even further.

I think a slow ball can do the damage here.

  18. Pak 348-8published at 79.2 overs

Joe Root has come down for a chat with Josh Tongue to try and regain some sense of calm. Razaullah has 30 from 19 balls.

I think Razaullah is my new favourite cricketer! No fear and a great attitude, well played young man!

Razaullah is serious hitter with the bat. Impressive!

Three in the over! Razaullah stands and admires the shot after clubbing Gus Atkinson over mid-wicket.
