Third and fourth, Dominik Kopec of Poland and Timothe Mumenthaler of Switzerland (10.32/10.36), move into the non-automatic qualifier seats on the side of the track.

After winning has seven major medals but never reaching the top of the podium, Halasz wins by virtue of his fifth and final attempt, reaching 84.25m.
That's a world-leading time this year and a national record.
Merlin Hummel of Germany (81.30) takes silver and Ukraine's Mykhaylo Kokhan (79.49) bronze, while five-time world champion Pawel Fajdek (79.13) of Poland was fifth and Great Britain's Jake Norris (74.61) ninth.

Time for some men's 100m action.
The three men's semi-finals are about to start with the final coming at 21:47 BST. The first round was this morning and the 12 qualifiers from that are joined by the same number of top-ranked athletes, who got to skip that stage.
None of the three British athletes involved needed to make it through this morning's session. Romell Glave dipped under 10 seconds legally for the first time to win his first British title in June and then shaved off 0.01 sec at the London Diamond League for a PB of 9.97.
Welshman Jeremiah Azu finished fourth and fifth respectively at this year’s World Indoor Championships and Commonwealth Games. US-based Louie Hinchliffe twice ran 10.01 sec in May, his best times since four legal sub-10 second races in 2024.
Two-time European 100m champion Marcell Jacobs has broken 10 seconds in four races this summer, including a wind-assisted 9.67 sec in July - only Usain Bolt has ever run faster in any conditions.

Greece's Miltiadis Tentoglou is back to his best after a difficult 2025 and is targeting a fourth European title in a row. Meanwhile Portugal’s Gerson Balde and Bozhidar Saraboyukov of Bulgaria are the respective world and European indoor champions.
World champion Mattia Furlani sadly misses out because of injury but fellow Italian Francesco Inzoli topped qualifying with a wind-assisted 8.34m – two days after his brother Daniele won the world under-20 title in the USA.
