Low 1004 northern Norwegian Sea moves south as a filling feature Saturday night into Monday morning. High 1026 Azores extends a ridge northeast to High 1024 Shannon with a further ridge extending northwest to High 1016 west of Iceland Saturday evening. While the high over the Azores remains almost stationary Highs Shannon and west of Iceland decline as they pass east across the UK and into the North Sea by mid-Monday. The ridge over the North Sea Monday continues east into Scandinavia Tuesday. A further high 1021 south of Nova Scotia mid-Sunday strengthens as it moves steadily northeast to reach north of the Azores by Tuesday. Low 1011 59N 030W fills east during Sunday while Low 1001 50N 049W deepens as it tracks northeast to reach 997 south of Iceland late Tuesday. Near gales Fitzroy briefly Saturday night then strong winds southern Fitzroy and northern Trafalgar but no gales are expected during this period
