It seems Raducanu is feeling the effects of her lengthy semi-final win yesterday when she beat Oleksandra Oliynykova in a near three-hour match.

That took 29 minutes.

Easy hold for Cirstea as she wins a fifth game in a row. Raducanu came back from 5-0 down to beat Kaja Juvan in the last 16 earlier this week but Cirstea presents a more difficult challenge.

Raducanu's serve is coming under severe pressure and she is broken again.

She then manages to save another as Cirstea sends a forehand long and saves another break point with a forehand winner, but Cirstea takes her sixth break point when a Raducanu forehand goes wide.

A confident start from Cirstea as she comfortably holds serve to love thanks to winners with both backhand and forehand.

It’ll be interesting to see who the crowd support today. Sorana Cirstea is a home favourite but Raducanu, whose father Ion is from Bucharest, has had plenty of support from the Romanian crowd as well this week.
