  1. Galfi breaks in first gamepublished at 20:10 BST 31 August 2022

    *Galfi 1-0 Dart

Not the start Harriet Dart will have been wanting, as she sees her serve broken in the very first game.

It was a very easy love hold for Dalma Galfi. The Hungarian has heavy strapping on her left leg but it doesn't seem to be causing her issues at the moment.

I would be very curious to see the racquet head speed for Murray. I would imagine it is quicker, and it is just taking the time away from Nava. Has he got quicker because Nava has dropped his level or was it Murray who made the first move?

    Murray 5-7 6-3 6-1 4-0 Nava*

Murray pumps his fist in celebration as Nava bats the ball long to give the Brit another hold.

He is two games away from winning this match, but Nava put up more of a fight in that one.

  4. Dart to serve firstpublished at 20:07 BST 31 August 2022

    Galfi 0-0 Dart*

Harriet Dart to get us under way on court 12.

Only once before has she reached the third round of a Grand Slam, coming at Wimbledon in 2019. Does another third round berth beckon here?

  5. Postpublished at 20:07 BST 31 August 2022

    *Murray 5-7 6-3 6-1 3-0 Nava

Obviously it's not over yet, but if Andy Murray wins this one he will face either Italian 13th seed Matteo Berrettini or French world number 119 Hugo Grenier next.

Like Murray, Berrettini lost the first set of that match but leads 2-1 now.

In this match, Murray is at 30-30 on his serve.

It's that cushion isn't it. Andy trying to get that lead just in case Nava gets a second win.

  7. Murray breakspublished at 20:03 BST 31 August 2022

    *Murray 5-7 6-3 6-1 3-0 Nava

There's not long left of this, surely.

Nava stumbles as he tries to reach a backhand and it only goes into the net.

  8. Break point Murraypublished at 20:02 BST 31 August 2022

    Murray 5-7 6-3 6-1 2-0 Nava*

Despite his dominance, Andy Murray will still berate himself for any mistake. He whacks the ball wide and loudly vocalises his annoyance.

Maybe it's that attitude which helps him claw his way to 30-30 on Nava's serve.

Another break here would be devestating for the American, but it could be on the cards. Murray hustles, covering pretty much the whole of the court chasing balls, and it comes good as he sets up another break point.

  9. 'Dart loves the big stage'published at 20:01 BST 31 August 2022

    Galfi v Dart

    Naomi Broady
British player on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Harriet loves the big stage - she has always played well at the Grand Slams. She has qualified so many times and she has always been good at stepping up.

She has a lot of self-belief. Now the question is to back up that first-round big win.

  10. Dart o'clockpublished at 19:59 BST 31 August 2022

    Galfi v Dart

After a long old wait for the men's match preceding hers to finish - it went all the way to a fifth-set tie-break - it's finally time for Harriet Dart to emerge onto court 12.

After stunning 10th seed Daria Kasatkina in the first round, she takes on Hungary's Dalma Galfi for the first time today.

Should she win, she'll replace Emma Raducanu as British number one.

"Vamos," comes the call from Nava's coach. He's not giving up on this one yet.

The player's body language says different though as he hauls another ball into the net to go 40-0 down.

Murray nets himself, but claims his hold on the next point.

  12. Postpublished at 19:56 BST 31 August 2022

Demonstrating Naomi's point, Andy Murray has won 17 of the last 20 points.

    He is in control now.

  13. 'You cannot make up for experience'published at 19:56 BST 31 August 2022

    *Murray 5-7 6-3 6-1 1-0 Nava

    Naomi Broady
British player on BBC Radio 5 Live

You cannot make up for experience. The top players have been in every single situation, especially the ones who have won Grand Slams.

Murray didn't looked panicked when he lost the first set. And I felt the same. You just knew that Nava could not sustain such a high level of tennis.

Emilio Nava looks to the sky in frustration as he hooks a backhand wide to give Andy Murray and early break.

  15. Murray has two break pointspublished at 19:54 BST 31 August 2022

Oh dear, could this be over quite soon?

The fourth set has barely begun and already Murray has two break points.

  16. Postpublished at 19:51 BST 31 August 2022

    Murray 5-7 6-3 6-1 0-0 Nava*

It took an hour and 24 minutes for Emilio Nava to take the first set.

In the hour and 11 minutes since, Andy Murray has won two.

The former champion is within touching distance of his first Grand Slam third round in over a year.

  17. Game and third set Murraypublished at 19:50 BST 31 August 2022

    Murray 5-7 6-3 6-1 0-0 Nava*

Nava's return lands out and that's a 2-1 lead for Andy Murray.

He lost the first set, but has been largely unthreatened since.

  18. Set point Murraypublished at 19:49 BST 31 August 2022

Within seconds, Murray is already 40-0 up.

    Naomi Broady

I think even though Nava got the first set, it still took him an hour and 24 minutes. It will have taken so much energy out of both of them.

  20. Murray breakspublished at 19:48 BST 31 August 2022

    *Murray 5-7 6-3 5-1 Nava

    He only needs one.

Another perfect drop-shot from Murray puts him two breaks up. Surely this third set is his now.
