Louth are level again!

Dara McDonnell claims a superb mark from the Mayo kick-out before Conor Grimes takes over, curling over a brilliant two-pointer from beyond the arc on the left.

It's all square once more with seven minutes remaining until half-time.

Louth respond once more. Conor Grimes finds plenty of space on the left, cuts towards the centre and confidently splits the posts.

The deficit is back to two points.

Louth hit back immediately. Sam Mulroy claims the kick-out superbly before laying it off to Ciarán Keenan, who splits the posts to restore the Wee County's lead.

Ryan O'Donoghue is in the mood. Given too much space on the right, he cuts inside and calmly fists over the bar to restore parity at Croke Park.

Sam Mulroy is penalised for a clumsy challenge on the edge of the square, handing Mayo a straightforward free.

Such an intriguing start to this game.

Mayo just not clinical with early chances, but the warnings were there for Louth when they coughed up possession in attack, which is how Mayo's goal came about.

But Louth have been excellent since. This is set up perfectly.

Mayo regain possession after Craig Lennon loses control, but the counter is halted when Jordan Flynn is booked for a rash challenge.

It’s going to be a fun afternoon for Kobe McDonald, from the very start Louth aren’t giving him an inch.

Walking into position from the parade he’s had a Louth player holding on to him, before the whistle even went.
