Wales' Orlando Holley-Sotomi is into his first Commonwealth final.

The 22-year-old produced a dominant display to cruise past Mauritius fighter Merven Clair with a 5-0 win in their men's 70kg bout and will face either Scotland's Sonny Kerr or Northern Ireland's Jon McConnell in Saturday's final.

Kerr and McConnell are fighting in their semi-final now.

Charlie Ayre wins bronze for England!

Ayre landed a yuko on Regan Wali before holding the Kenyan for a waza-ari.

The 20-year-old from Middlesbrough then finished the bout on the ground by holding Wali in a chokehold with his leg to force the submission.

A dominant display by Ayre and a well-earned spot on the podium.

"It was incredible," the 22-year-old from Camberley in Surrey said.

"The amount of support... as soon as I got into the position for the arm lock, the crowd were going, ‘Go on, Summer, go on’ because they knew I could get it."

Another very cagey first lap and a half but England's Sophie Capewell goes for home with a lap to go but Malaysia's Nurul Mohammed Asri comes around the outside on the final turn and wins the race for the line by a wheel.

Malaysia's Mohd Azizulhasni Awang went for the line from a long way out but ended up finishing second behind the fast-finishing Australian Danny Barber.

Both go through to the second round but Pete Mitchell of Scotland will have another chance in the repechage after finishing third.

The third heat features Pete Mitchell of Scotland and one of the medal contenders, Malaysia's Mohd Azizulhasni Awang.

A quick win for Summer Shaw to claim bronze for Scotland!

She forces Botswana's Botho Babutsi into submission with an arm lock to win by ippon.

It took her just one minute and 32 seconds. Pure joy on the 22-year-old's face.

Australia's Leigh Hoffman blazes to the line to win a spectacular heat two with England's Harry Ledingham-Horn going through in second, though Scotland's Lyall Craig pushed him all the way in a photo finish.

Craig and Wales' Ioan Hepburn will go into the second chance repechage round.
