Nanna Koerstz Madsen needed that today after struggling on Friday. She wanted to prove to her captain that she could get a point on the board and she is well on her way to doing it.

  2. Kim gets one backpublished at 14:26 BST 13 September

    3UP Woad v Kim (12)

Auston Kim knocks in a long birdie putt on the 12th that drifts from left to right and then disappears.

When Lottie Woad can't answer it's a hole back for the American.

  3. Korda wins to level overall scorepublished at 14:24 BST 13 September

    Rhodes loses 4&2 to Korda

This could be terminal on 16. Mimi Rhodes chops out of the heather but can't stop her ball on the green and it tumbles off the front edge and into the water.

The Englishwoman then has to go to the drop zone, some 70 yards from the green, to hit her fifth shot.

Nelly Korda coming from the first cut of rough has more control and hits her third to about 15 feet. And that's enough to win the match.

    Rhodes concedes the match.

    2UP Nadaud v Lee (13)

Nastasia Nadaud plays a stunning approach into the 13th that skips and runs and pulls up five feet from the pin.

And it helps her take another hole to extend her lead.

  6. Lee claims first singles point for USpublished at 14:20 BST 13 September

    Henseleit v Alison Lee 1UP (17)

Alison Lee gets well inside Esther Henseleit's ball with her approach into the 18th green. The German will need to probably make a monster birdie putt to get anything out of a match she led by four.

Her effort comes up three feet short. Lee has two putts to win from 20 feet and strokes her first up to within a few inches. Game over and a first point of the day for the United States.

From four down, Lee completes the biggest singles comeback in the history of the Solheim Cup.

  8. Huge from Madsenpublished at 14:17 BST 13 September

    3UP Madsen v Corpuz (14)

There's a few big American moves out on the golf course right now, but Nanna Koerstz Madsen just generated a huge home cheer by draining a huge putt on the 14th to stretch her lead over Allisen Corpuz.

That could be massive not only for Madsen but also the European team.

    Rhodes v Korda 3UP (15)

Mimi Rhodes needs hole wins so she goes for the green in two on the par-five 16th.

She leaks that a little right though and the ball disappears into a clump of heather.

Nelly Korda also takes on the water at the front of the green and her ball bounds towards where Rhodes' ended up. But the American ball pulls up short of the really thick stuff that Rhodes is in.

  10. Singles dramapublished at 14:15 BST 13 September

The singles always has the potential for drama, especially with recent Solheim Cup battles being so close.

And just take a look at how the last five Sundays have played out, with three 6-6 draws in there. If we have another one today the Solheim Cup will be drawn 14-14, just as it was on the last visit to Europe in 2023.

Only this time as the USA are holder they'll retain the trophy.

Last five Solheim Cup singles results:

    • 2017: 6-6
    • 2019: Euro 6.5-5.5
    • 2021: 6-6
    • 2023: 6-6
    • 2024: Euro 6.5-5.5
  11. Noh fighting backpublished at 14:12 BST 13 September

    1UP Lopez Ramirez v Noh (12)

Yealimi Noh lips out on the 12th green. The American thought that was in and it hands Julia Lopez Ramirez, who found the bunker with her approach a chance to halve the hole.

But her putt starts right and never looks close to coming back in.

  12. Kupcho gets one backpublished at 14:08 BST 13 September

    3UP Ciganda v Kupcho (8)

Jennifer Kupcho is going nowhere in the penultimate match out on the course. She rolls in a tiddler to win the eighth hole and keep in touch with Carlota Ciganda.

Team Europe's Linn Grant after winning the second point of the day: "It was very nice. I wanted to play with Angel [Yin] going into the week in the singles and got to do that. It's hard to beat someone when you're having a good time together out there."

On the European crowd: "It's our 13th player out there. I think it makes a huge difference when you play over in Europe or over in the US.

"To get my four points this week, I'm very happy and I hope she [Anna Nordqvist] feels good too."

  14. Rhodes still alivepublished at 14:06 BST 13 September

    Rhodes v Korda 3UP (15)

Nelly Korda is out with the putter from a fraction off the front of the 15th green. This is to win the match. The ball stays on the green.

Mimi Rhodes from around eight feet to extend the match. In it goes. Huge cheers from the grandstand. A punch of the air by Rhodes.

    On we go.

  15. Lee completes turnaroundpublished at 14:06 BST 13 September

    Henseleit v Alison Lee 1UP (17)

Alison Lee throws a dart into the 17th green. The pressure is on Esther Henseleit big time here and her ball finishes outside that of her opponent and one the same line.

The German burns the edge with her putt and in the process she hands the American the perfect read.

It's no more than five feet and in it drops. The only player on the US team, who has ever won in Europe has overturned a four-hole deficit.

  16. Stark falling apartpublished at 14:03 BST 13 September

    Stark v Duncan 3UP (9)

Make that four in a row for Lindy Duncan! This time Maja Stark is at fault as she can only make a bogey as the American is bossing this one now and well on the way to a point.

A point not too many expected her to win as well.

  17. Postpublished at 14:03 BST 13 September

    Rhodes v Korda 4UP (14)

Mimi Rhodes sniffs a chance to extend her match beyond the 15th.

Nelly Korda's tee shot on the short hole comes up shy of the green.

Rhodes goes pin-seeking. She's around eight feet from the hole.

  19. Grant wins point for Europe!published at 14:00 BST 13 September

    Grant beats Yin 4&3

Angel Yin's putt from the back of the 15th green is right on line. She's just not given it enough juice.

And that means Linn Grant has a putt to win the match and putt a second point on the board for Europe.

Never in doubt. Grant punches the air. It's a first singles win in the Solheim Cup and what a time to do it.

  20. Korda goes dormiepublished at 13:58 BST 13 September

    Rhodes v Korda 4UP (14)

Mimi Rhodes plays another lovely chip and run up to gimme range but that gives Nelly Korda a chance to close out the match on the 14th green.

It's a 40-footer. And Korda lags that to a foot. She has given Rhodes nothing all day.

Hole halved though and they head to 15 with Korda knowing she's adding at least a half point to the US tally.
