So far, Swansea City have been busy in the transfer window, adding five new signings ahead of the 2026-27 Championship campaign.

Moussa Yeo and Stephen Welsh were the first to arrive in South Wales as Leo Walta's move from IK Sirius was also made permanent.

Head coach Vitor Matos has also added winger Joseph Opoku and New Zealand international Elijah Just to his attacking options.

Coach Leon Britton says both players have settled in quickly, with further additions potentially still to come.

More recently, Sam Parker departed on loan to Wycombe Wanderers and Liam Cullen is nearing a move to League One Leicester City.

Crucially, Zan Vipotnik remains a Swansea player.

Swansea City youngster Carter Heywood has signed his first professional deal, which ties him to the Championship club until the summer of 2029.

Centre-back Heywood, 17, featured in all three games during Swansea's recent pre-season trip to Austria, having been named academy player of the season in 2025-26.

The Wales Under-19 international, from Pembrokeshire, joined Swansea at under-nine level.

He has been handed a contract despite being only halfway through a two-year scholarship.

"Getting this contract a year early, while I'm still on a scholarship, shows that the club have trust in me and I'm so thankful for that," Heywood said.

"Coming from Pembrokeshire, your family have to sacrifice a lot to get you to training; I'm grateful for that.

"There were loads of times where they'd finish work early, or I'd finish school early, around three or four times a week."

Swansea City will launch their home kit for the 2026-27 season prior to Saturday's home friendly with CD Leganes.

Vitor Matos' players wore a temporary kit in three friendly matches during their Austrian pre-season camp last week.

But their home strip for the season ahead is to be revealed at the back end of this week.

The Leganes game is Swansea's final warm-up before competitive football returns with a home Carabao Cup tie against Birmingham City on Saturday, 8 August.

Swansea City's decision to allow Sam Parker to head out on loan will be viewed as a surprise by some given the promise he showed when thrust into the limelight last season.

Having got a first taste of senior football in 2023-24, Parker saw his progress hampered by a hamstring issue which kept him out for a year.

He then spent much of last season on the fringes of the first-team picture, only for injury problems for Josh Key and the now departed Ethan Galbraith to hand him a chance in the spring.

Parker (pictured above) seized his opportunity, serving up a reminder of his promise in four starts before another hamstring issue curtailed his season.

The fact that Parker has been allowed to join Wycombe Wanderers – where he will play for ex-Swans boss Michael Duff – suggests Filip Lissah (pictured below) may be in line for a first-team chance at Swansea.

Lissah, whose one previous senior appearance at Swansea came in January 2024, excelled during a year-long loan at Falkirk in 2025-26 and is believed to have impressed Vitor Matos during pre-season.

As things stand, 21-year-old Lissah looks set to compete with Josh Key for the right-back spot when Matos' side begin the new season with a Carabao Cup tie against Birmingham City a week on Saturday.

Key has only a year to run on his current deal and has attracted some transfer interest this summer, but it appears he remains in Matos' plans for now.

Parker, who turned 20 earlier this month, is under contract until 2028.

The hope for Swansea will be that, like Lissah, Parker strengthens his case for a regular role in the Championship by impressing while out on loan.

Swansea City have their full squad together for the first time since the end of last season after Cameron Burgess and Eom Jisung returned to the club's Fairwood training base.

Australia international defender Burgess and South Korea winger Eom were given extra time off after featuring at this summer's World Cup.

Marko Stamenic, who played for New Zealand at the tournament, joined up with Swansea during their pre-season camp in Austria last week alongside new signing and All Whites team-mate Elijah Just.

Burgess was given extra time off because Australia reached the World Cup knockout stages, while Eom's extra rest is thought to be down to the fact that he faces a busy September as a result of the Asian Games.

Swansea's final pre-season assignment is against Spanish second-tier side CG Leganes this coming Saturday, with head coach Vitor Matos waiting to see whether Zan Vipotnik will be able to play any part in that game.

Last season's Championship top scorer sat out the Swans' three friendlies in Austria because of a quad injury.

Goncalo Franco is a definite absentee after the midfielder underwent surgery on an ankle injury.

Former Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has retired from professional football at the age of 41.

Fabianski, who made 150 appearances for the Swans between 2014 and 2018, has hung up his gloves after eight seasons at West Ham.

The Polish international, who won 57 caps, joined the Swans on a free transfer from Arsenal and was voted supporters' player of the year in 2018.

"Some goodbyes are harder than others. Today is one of those days," Fabianski wrote on social media.

"After so many unforgettable years, the time has come for me to close the most beautiful chapter of my life.

"I have made the difficult decision to retire from football as a goalkeeper.

"To every coach who believed in me, every teammate who fought alongside me, every club that gave me the opportunity to wear its badge with pride, every supporter who stood behind me, and most importantly, my family - thank you," his statement added.

Fabianski won the FA Cup at Arsenal and Conference League for West Ham.

Swansea City coach Leon Britton feels new signings Elijah Just and Joseph Opoku have settled in quickly after they caught the eye during a 2-0 win over Udinese.

New Zealand international Just, who joined on Wednesday, scored on his first Swansea outing while Ghana winger Opoku hit the post late on, having signed on Thursday.

Former Swans midfielder Britton has been impressed by the new additions, and feels the attacking pair can have a big impact when the season gets under way next month.

"It was great to see them out there. I think they did really well," he told the club's official website.

"They've only had a day or two of training with the group, so they are still getting to know how the manager wants to play.

"They came in and had an impact; Joseph on the wing, looking dangerous and Eli came on and took his goal really well.

"It looks like they've settled in really quickly. I'm sure they can have a big impact for the team."

Swansea head back to Wales following their pre-season camp in Austria, during which they also drew with Holstein Kiel and lost to VFL Bochum.

"It's been a really good week, the players have worked hard and the new players have come in," Britton added. "We will look back on this tour as a really successful one."

Elijah Just scored on his first Swansea City appearance to seal an encouraging 2-0 victory in their pre-season fixture with Udinese in Austria.

The New Zealand international signed on Wednesday from Motherwell and gave an early indication of his finishing power that brought three goals at the World Cup.

Vitor Matos named a strong first team line-up for the contest at Fussballplatz Mittersill against their opponents from Italy's Serie A.

Wales international Liam Cullen gave Swansea the lead with a composed finish from a one-on-one position after just six minutes.

New signings Joseph Opoku and Just - along with midfielder Marko Stamenic - were introduced at the break.

Matos rotated his squad further in the second half as Andy Fisher, Cameron Congreve, Josh Key, Leo Walta, Thomas Woodward, Sam Parker and Carter Heywood all gained valuable minutes on the pitch.

And winger Just drilled in a left-footed effort late on as Matos' side ended their tour of Austria in positive fashion.

The Swans round off their summer schedule against Spanish club Leganes at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, 1 August (15:00 BST).

They begin their competitive schedule by hosting Birmingham City in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Saturday, 8 August (15:00 BST).

Matos' outfit then kick off their 2026-27 Championship campaign at Stoke City on Saturday, 15 August (15:00 BST).

Swansea City lost 2-0 against German second-tier side VfL Bochum in the second of their three pre-season friendlies in Austria, played in Mittersill.

Vitor Matos' side trailed 1-0 at the break of a game organised into three thirds, with Alessandro Crimaldi hitting the target and Berkan Taz striking in the second period.

Matos' side ended the final period with 10 academy players on the field as he assessed options for the coming Championship season.

Swansea are also set to face Italian heavyweights Udinese on Friday, 24 July (12:00 BST) during their training camp.

Vitor Matos confirmed Zan Vipotnik missed Swansea City's 2-2 pre-season friendly draw with Holstein Kiel due to a minor injury.

Slovenia international Vipotnik - the Championship's top scorer with 23 goals last term - was not included in the Swans' matchday squad for the contest in Austria after reporting a quad issue.

"Vipi felt a little bit of tiredness around his quad, so it was just a precaution more than anything else," head coach Matos told the club's official website.

New signings Moussa Yeo and Stephen Welsh both featured as winger Ronald and forward Adam Idah got on the scoresheet for the Swans.

A number of fringe and youth players - including Filip Lissah, Sam Parker, Dan Watts, Thomas Woodward, Arthur Parker and Cameron Congreve - also featured during the draw.

"It was good to have them (Yeo and Welsh) with us here because it allows them to adapt pretty quickly to the style," added Matos.

"I was really impressed with both, I think they played a really good game.

"It's more now that the team starts understanding them, their strengths and how we can use them.

"It was good to see some kids from the academy too."

Zan Vipotnik did not feature as Swansea drew 2-2 against Holstein Kiel in their first of three pre-season friendlies to be played in Austria.

Ronald scored early to open the scoring against the German side before Adam Idah restored the Swans' lead, but Vitor Matos' charges were unable to hold on for victory.

Swansea named fresh line-ups for each half, with summer signing Stephen Welsh the only exception. The Scottish defender played 60 minutes at the Kufstein Arena.

Vipotnik, who scored 23 goals as he won the Championship Golden Boot last season, is part of the Swansea squad that travelled to Austria for this training camp.

Goncalo Franco was among those not included after undergoing ankle surgery for an injury suffered in a behind-closed-doors game against Exeter City.

Swansea are also set to face Bundesliga second-tier side VFL Bochum on Tuesday, 21 July (17:00 BST), and Italian heavyweights Udinese on Friday, 24 July (12:00 BST) during their Austria training camp.

Swansea City will wear a temporary strip in their three pre-season games in Austria with the club yet to unveil any kits for the 2026-27 campaign.

The Swansea play a friendly in front of fans for the first time this summer when they meet German second-tier side Holstein Kiel at the Kufstein Arena on Saturday (15:30 BST).

They face another 2. Bundesliga team, VFL Bochum, next Tuesday before taking on Italian heavyweights Udinese next Friday.

In all three fixtures, Vitor Matos' players will wear what Swansea say is a "special limited-edition kit" which will then be auctioned for charity.

"It features the classic Swans colours of black and white, with black trim on the collar and sleeves," they said.

"Details on the launch of our new official home kit for the 2026-27 Championship season will be revealed soon."

With just over three weeks to go until their competitive season begins, the Swans have not launched any of their kits for 2026-27.

They are also yet to confirm their front-of-shirt sponsor for the upcoming campaign, with Death Row Records - the record label owned by Swansea co-owner Snoop Dogg - filling the gap on the kit being worn in Austria.

Winger Joe Davies has joined Swansea City following his exit from League One side Peterborough United.

The 19-year-old has signed a one-year deal and will initially link up with the club's under-21s for the 2026-27 season.

Milton Keynes-born Davies spent three months on loan at Northern Premier League Division One outfit AFC Rushden and Diamonds last season, making 12 appearances and scoring one goal.

"I'm buzzing to be here at such a big club. I heard so many amazing things about this club when I was younger, and now, I can't wait to get started," said Davies.

"Coming from Welsh descent, I've always known about Swansea and about how they play, so to be here is amazing."

In May 2025, Davies scored the winner for Peterborough under-18s in the Professional Development League Cup final against Sheffield United.

Swansea head of academy recruitment Paul Robinson said: "I believe Joe's pace, attacking intent and ability to influence games in the final third make him an exciting addition to the squad.

"His pace adds another dimension to our forward options and provides strong potential for continued development within the club's environment."

Swansea City's Milo Robinson is closer to following in the footsteps of his father after signing his first professional contract.

The midfielder is the son of former Wales international Carl Robinson, who earned 52 caps for his country between 1999 and 2009.

The 18-year-old has already represented Wales at youth level, most recently being capped at under-19s level, and has signed terms through to 2028.

Born in Brecon, Robinson joined Swansea in the summer of 2024 having spent most of his youth career in the United States, Canada and Australia, where his father played for and managed various clubs.

"It's a proud moment for me and my family, I'm buzzing to have signed my first professional contract," he said.

"This is something I've been working towards since I joined a few years ago, and I'm glad that hard work has paid off and I've earned two more years here.

"I want to get more experience in and around the first team environment. I know the gaffer is great at giving the younger players a chance and I'd love to be up there."
