    Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic is undergoing a medical at Ipswich Town as the clubs near an agreement over a permanent transfer.

    The Cottagers are looking to sign a replacement and are now believed to be in pole position to sign Southampton's Shea Charles, although a fee has yet to be agreed.

    Adam Blackmore hosted the hour-long forum at St Mary's Stadium in the Mick Channon Suite alongside some key members of the club.

    Head coach Tonda Eckert, sporting director Johannes Spors and CEO Phil Parsons were all at at the top table and asked questions by the supporters.

    The panel were quizzed about the spying scandal that dominated Saints' end to last season and Spors spoke about the clubs plans to reduce its squad size for the upcoming campaign.

    There was also discussion about season ticket prices and the new Saints strip for the coming season.

    Finn Azaz and Caspar Jander will not travel to Germany with the rest of the 29-man Southampton squad

    Caspar Jander, Finn Azaz and Sam Edozie will miss Southampton's eight day pre-season trip to Germany with injuries.

    Tonda Eckert's squad take on Eintracht Braunschweig and Preuben Munster either side of a week's training camp in North Rhine-Westphalia.

    Jander, Azaz and Edozie will remain at the Staplewood training ground for treatment on minor knocks while a 29-man-squad travels to Germany.

    Midfielder Jander came off injured during Southampton's first pre-season game against Eastleigh last Saturday.

    Following their pre-season trip to Germany, Saints get their EFL Cup campaign under way against Colchester United before starting their Championship season away at Watford.

    Southampton beat National League neighbours Eastleigh 3-1 in their annual pre-season friendly at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday.

    Tonda Eckert's side had to come from behind in the game after Spitfires defender Nick Akoto fired the hosts ahead after 14 minutes.

    Saints then levelled it up thanks to new signing Lewis Dobbin before academy forward Nicholas Oyekunle headed the visitors ahead.

    Midfielder Romeo Akachukwu, 19, then added a third to ensure Saints' first pre-season match ended with a win.

    Eckert and his players will now head to Germany to continue their preparation for the new Championship campaign with games scheduled against Eintracht Braunschweig and Preussen Munster.
