Kidderminster Harriers have added a second new signing in preparation for the club's return to the National League after agreeing a deal for midfielder Max Brogan.

The 24-year-old has been with Scunthorpe since the start of 2024-25 but spent the second half of last season on loan with Leamington, where he scored in a 3-2 defeat by Harriers at the end of April.

Brogan has also had spells with Solihull Moors and Hednesford Town and was part of the Scunthorpe side that won promotion to the National League at the end of 2024-25.

He becomes new Harriers boss Paul Wotton's second new addition following the arrival of another attacking midfielder Callum Dolan.

Newly-promoted Kidderminster Harriers have made their first permanent signing in preparation for their return to the National League by agreeing a deal for attacking midfielder Callum Dolan.

The 25-year-old played at Torquay United under new Harriers boss Paul Wotton, who was appointed as Adam Murray's replacement a week ago, and was part of the Gulls side that lost the National League South play-off final to miss out on promotion.

But Dolan, who has loan spells with Fleetwood Town in League One and Oldham and Altrincham in the National League, will get the chance to play in the top tier of non-league football again.

"He's a player I trust," Wotton told the club website.

"He can play in three positions, in midfield, as a 10 and he can play wide. He wants to win and will put his foot in, but he's got ability as well."

After the club released 11 players at the end of last season, Dolan joins striker Layton Love and midfielder David Davis, who have both agreed new contracts, in Wotton's plans for the new campaign.

Kidderminster Harriers captain Amari Morgan-Smith is among 11 players set to leave the newly-promoted club this summer.

The 37-year-old forward made more than 300 appearances in two spells with the club, including 46 as skipper last season as he led the Harriers to promotion to the National League.

Goalkeeper Christian Dibble will also leave at the end of his contract after 163 appearances, as will Joe Foulkes and Alex Penny, who both played more than 140 times for the side.

Other players on the released list are Josh Palmer, Tom Robinson, Kam Kandola, Jack Clarke, Pierce Bird, Rhys Lovett and Tobi Sho-Silva, while Leyton Love and David Davis have signed new contracts.

Kidderminster Harriers have announced that midfielder David Davis has agreed a new contract which will keep him at the club as they prepare for a return to the National League.

Harriers secured promotion via the play-offs from the National League North earlier in May, beating South Shields 2-0 in the final, and preparations are being put in place under new manager Paul Wotton, who has succeeded the departed Adam Murray.

The club have now sealed the services of the experienced Davis for another year, before the new campaign begins. He played 37 times in the promotion-winning campaign and scored seven goals.

Davis, 35, is well known for his spells at Birmingham City, Shrewsbury Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he came through the academy.

Wotton said of Davis staying on: "He is a massive influence for us, both on and off the pitch. He is integral to what we are trying to achieve and this demonstrates his loyalty to Kidderminster Harriers after receiving significant offers and interest from other clubs."

Kidderminster Harriers assistant manager Stuart Watkiss and first-team coach Mario Oliveira have both left the newly-promoted National League club.

Watiss is a former Harriers boss and returned to Aggborough in October to join the coaching set-up of then boss Adam Murray.

Former Nottingham Forest and Lincoln City coach Oliveira had been with Harriers since July last year.

Their departures follow Murray's exit to become Barrow's new manager last week.

Harriers, who are back in the National League next season after winning the play-off final, are yet to announce who will replace Murray on a permanent basis.

Solihull Moors have signed striker Tobi Sho-Silva on loan for the remainder of the season from Kidderminster Harriers.

The 30-year-old forward has scored once in 15 appearances in National League North for Harriers this season and joins the Moors for the final eight games of the campaign.

Sho-Silva was part of the Sutton United side that won promotion to the English Football League (EFL) for the first time in the club's history in 2020-21 and was at Carlisle United when they won the League Two play-off final two seasons later.

"Tobi is a great character and will bring energy and a physical presence to the front line," said , externalMoors boss Chris Millington.

"He will also have an impact off the pitch due to his experience and professionalism."

Solihull, seven points clear of the relegation zone, are away to bottom club Truro City on Wednesday (19:45 GMT).
