    Swansea City striker Josh Thomas is joining Drogheda United on loan after being recalled from his spell at League Two Bromley.

    Academy product Thomas, 22, signed a new Swansea deal in August before joining Bromley on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign.

    But Thomas' stint with the fourth-tier club has come to an end after he managed only six appearances in the first half of the season.

    He will instead spend the 2025 season playing in the League of Ireland Premier division.

    Thomas has made one senior appearance for Swansea, coming off the bench on the opening day of this season at Middlesbrough.

    Chris Sutton's predictions with Billy Bob Thornton

    BBC Sport football expert Chris Sutton has made his predictions for all 32 FA Cup third round games and given his verdict on who will make it into round four.

    For this week's matches he is up against actor and musician Billy Bob Thornton, who is a Liverpool fan.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-0

    It is a long way from Bromley to Newcastle but this is a great tie for them, even if they are going to end up being beaten.

    Newcastle have won seven in a row in all competitions now and, while Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon are understandably getting a lot of attention, I have been really impressed by Jacob Murphy.

    Eddie Howe will make lots of changes but I don't see it making any difference.

    Billy's prediction: 4-0
