    Boreham Wood have signed Ipswich Town winger Leon Ayinde on loan until the end of the season.

    The 21-year-old Irishman has yet to play for the Championship club, but scored twice in 27 National League appearances for Rochdale while on loan last season.

    Ayinde began his career at Cork City and joined Ipswich in January 2023.

    He joins a Boreham Wood side fourth in the table despite a run of four successive defeats which was ended by Wednesday's 3-2 home win against Yeovil Town.

    Boreham Wood have recalled goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore and midfielder Aaron Henry from loan spells with other clubs.

    Ashmore made 15 appearances for Southern League Premier Central side Bedford Town, while Henry scored once in nine games for National League South leaders Hornchurch.

    Boreham Wood are third in the National League, six points behind leaders York City.

    Boreham Wood have completed the signing of Barrow midfielder Regan Booty for an undisclosed fee.

    The 26-year-old has been on loan since November, scoring three goals in seven appearances, including one from near the halfway line on his debut against Gateshead.

    He has now signed a deal until the summer of 2028 and said: "Everyone knows how much I've enjoyed my loan here, it was a no brainer to get it done on a permanent."

    Booty began his career at Huddersfield Town and also played for Notts County, Maidstone and Gateshead before joining Barrow last summer.

    Boreham Wood are third in the National League, two points behind leaders York City, and are looking to reach the English Football League for the first time.

    They are away to Braintree Town on Saturday.

    Boreham Wood have signed full-back Junior Robinson on loan from West Ham United for the rest of the season and agreed a permanent deal for Barnet defender Ollie Kensdale.

    Robinson, 21, has played six times for the Premier League club's under-21 side in the EFL Trophy and has also had previous loan spells at Sutton United and Scottish club Livingston.

    He made his Scottish Premiership debut against Rangers at Ibrox in November.

    Kensdale, who was previously with Southend United, made 10 appearances for Barnet this season after joining them from Eastbourne Borough.

    Boreham Wood are in FA Cup third-round action on Saturday at home to Burton Albion from League One (15:00 GMT).
