I mentioned at the start of the game how the Everton fans were up for this.

Well, just before Bruno Fernandes' shot was deflected over a few minutes ago where neither set of supporters were making any noise.

All you could hear was the general hum you get when this many people are in the same place at the same time.

It feels like something need to happen to liven everyone up.

The crowd noise has dropped considerably as United get a grip on this first half.

They're starting to carve through this Everton defence.

Marcus Rashford does really well to take the switch from Bryan Mbeumo. He rolls it across the box for Matheus Cunha to run on to but he drives high into the crowd.

Bruno Fernandes bends it into the back post and an Everton head nods straight to Diogo Dalot in the D. He catches it sweet enough on the volley but there are too many bodies in the way.
