Everton need more from their attacking players. The likes of Thierno Barry and Brennan Johnson. They've not shown up yet.

The first four minutes of this half have been better than the previous half.

Nice turn from Thierno Barry on the edge of the box but the pass is way off its target.

Manchester United have definitely looked the more dangerous.

I feel as if you're Manchester United if you just up it a level, the game is there to be won, because I'm just struggling to see how Everton can really get a goal unless it's a piece of brilliance.

Maybe that goal will wake Everton up.

Or it might get United going.

Now, here comes Everton as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sends a really dangerous ball towards the far post.

Brennan Johnson gets the jump on Luke Shaw but he can't make contact.

There was nothing on when Bryan Mbeumo got the ball. He ran through two challenges, but Everton should be better to close him down. Left foot, and he curls it past Pickford. A class finish.

I'd seen a few text messages coming in during the first half criticising Bryan Mbeumo but that was a brilliant finish and exactly what United needed.

    Stunning.

Nightmare start to the second half for Everton as Bryan Mbeumo receives the ball wide right, he drives inside and places into the bottom corner.

  12. Barry needs to 'take chances like this'published at 15:04 BST

    Ian Wright
Former England striker on Sky Sports

For the kind of game that Thierno Barry has to play, he needs to take chances like this if he is going to exude that confidence.

I think [the ball] is coming from such a long way he has time to see it, once he gets on the back, I think as long as he keeps his eye on the ball, he can head it back where it’s comes from.

He’s trying to head it into the goal, twisting his head. The ball is coming quickly, but he needs to understand that he has to be the one to attack that.

    Daniel Sturridge
Former Liverpool striker on Sky Sports

I think it’s the timing of the run.

[Thierno Barry] times it wrong, and his body shape isn’t the best.

The only option he gave himself was near post, and it’s more of a glance. He tries to put too much power in it.

This United side are incredibly wasteful. Poor decision making and end product in the final third, especially away from a home and it’s been an issue for a long time now.

  18. 'Mosquera a major doubt for Arsenal'published at 14:54 BST

    Arsenal v Chelsea (16:30 BST)

    Sami Mokbel
    BBC Sport Senior football correspondent

Cristhian Mosquera is a major doubt for Arsenal’s clash against Chelsea, which could open the door to Ezri Konsa making his full debut for the club.

Mosquera has missed training this week and indications on Sunday morning were that the Spaniard was struggling to prove his fitness. If Mosquera is unavailable as expected, Konsa appears the logical choice to start at centre-back.

The England defender hasn’t started for Arsenal since his £51m move from Aston Villa, but did come on as a substitute in the victory against his former club on Monday.

Elsewhere, Bruno Guimaraes is set to be available after suffering a knock in the win over Villa - but it remains to be seen whether he is fit enough to start.

Mikel Arteta hinted Jurrien Timber may be fit enough to return to the squad following a long-term groin issue at his pre-match press conference on Friday - but the defender is not expected to be ready.

For Chelsea, manager Xabi Alonso revealed on Friday that key midfielder Moises Caicedo is an injury doubt for the game while centre-back Levi Colwill is also understood to have faced fitness issues in the build up to the game against Arsenal.

Brilliant. Jarrad Branthwaite read it fantastically. He saved Everton there.

I think Everton can breathe an enormous sigh of relief.

There is no lack of willingness, just a lack of quality from Everton.

For Man Utd, it looks there. It just needs one of the creators.

    It's not been a thriller.
