Why do you think Gravenberch doesn’t look comfortable as a six anymore? He played the position amazingly in Liverpool’s title-winning season, but now it doesn’t seem like he’s that kind of player anymore.

  5. Chelsea are going low from their set-piece routinespublished at 15:25 BST 12 September

    Chelsea 1-0 Hull

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

Chelsea have been trying a series of low corner routines to combat the defensive height of Hull City.

There was one just now where Cole Palmer flicked a low cross on but no-one followed it up.

It led new set-piece coach Austin MacPhee to rage on the touchline.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at Villa Park

We had not seen much of Morgan Gibbs-White but he has just warned Aston Villa, shooting at Zion Suzuki from an angle.

It was a decent move for Nottingham Forest, who have settled now after Villa went close through Victor Lindelof early on.

  7. Postpublished at 15:25 BST 12 September

    Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford

Vitaly Janelt goes down and looks to be in some bother.

The Brentford captain has played every minute in the Premier League for the Bees so far so this would not be good news for them.

Rayan fully trod on Janelt's foot as he went for the ball. Ouch.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:25 BST 12 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Fulham

Liverpool have recovered well after that scare when Jeremy Jacquet had to clear off the line. Florian Wirtz is the next to have a go, but can only shoot wide from 10 yards out.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:24 BST 12 September

    Aston Villa 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Villa defender Pau Torres, who had a knock earlier on after a clash with Liam Delap, cannot play on and Tyrone Mings takes his place.

  10. Postpublished at 15:24 BST 12 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Fulham

    Chris Sutton
Former Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

For Munoz, who is probably the smallest player, to get a free head on the ball, that's as slack as anything from Fulham.

    The visitors are level!

Leif Davis whips in an inviting cross from the left and Emersonn has the simple task of heading past Walter Benitez from close range.

The Crystal Palace players were adamant the Brazilian was offside, but after a brief VAR check the goal stands and Ipswich Town are level at Selhurst Park.

  12. Postpublished at 15:23 BST 12 September

    Aston Villa 0-0 Nottingham Forest

James McAtee flicks the ball into the path of Morgan Gibbs-White - who had been involved in the move earlier - and his first-time effort is saved by Zion Suzuki.

  13. Postpublished at 15:23 BST 12 September

    Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford

A clever ball into the box from Vitaly Janelt but Keane Lewis-Potter can't keep it alive at the back post.

    He was offside anyway.

  14. 'Scherpen should have saved that'published at 15:23 BST 12 September

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Ipswich

    Shay Given
Former Newcastle and Man City keeper on Final Score

The goalkeeper should have saved that. I know I sound like I've just jumped out of the goalkeepers union. I know it takes a bit of a nick as well but Kjell Scherpen is 6ft9. He doesn't actually go anywhere.

You can be too big sometimes, he doesn't dive anywhere, he just dives. Seeing the replay now he just dives the length of his body, he has to drive with his legs, and I think he could have saved that.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORK - Liverpoolpublished at 15:23 BST 12 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Fulham

Liverpool so close to opening the scoring as they have a corner from the left and it is met by the head of Victor Munoz and his header from six yards out bounces off the crossbar.

  16. Postpublished at 15:22 BST 12 September

    Chelsea 1-0 Hull

Another Chelsea attack and Pedro Neto's first-time side-footer is punched wide by Konstantinos Tzolakis, who was briefly Hull's record signing this summer.

  17. Liverpool 'slow and sluggish'published at 15:22 BST 12 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Fulham

    Chris Sutton
Former Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's all a little bit slow and sluggish from Liverpool, especially the pace of passing. Fulham are really growing in confidence, pressing Liverpool a little bit higher up. Liverpool haven't quite clicked yet, they're still trying to find the feel of the game.

Chelsea striker Joao Pedro, who assisted the goal today, tries to take a ball down on his chest in a shooting position but can't get it under control.

  19. Postpublished at 15:20 BST 12 September

Fulham have had the better of it in this opening stage.

  20. Postpublished at 15:20 BST 12 September

    Chelsea 1-0 Hull

    Joel Ward
Former Crystal Palace defender on 5 Live

It's brilliant to watch Chelsea like this and the way they're playing right now.
