With the shape that Chelsea are playing in and the player profiles that they have, they need to look at switching the play a little bit quicker. There's been a couple of moments where they could have switched it out to that left-hand side, where Pep Chavarria has had acres of space in front of him and could have gone 1v1.

Chelsea are finding their way, but they're kind of running out of ideas in the final third at the moment. Gusto and Neto are just throwing hopeless balls into the box that are being easily cleared by Hull.

Forest are well on top but there is a long way to go and the visitors have not won at Villa Park since 1994.

Stuart Pearce and Steve Stone scored in a 2-0 win.

Sorba Thomas was involved in a car crash yesterday - so I'm sure I wasn't the only person not expecting to see him playing today.

  4. Team news - Grealish on bench for Everton, Maddison in Spurs squadpublished at 16:19 BST 12 September
    Breaking

    Tottenham v Everton (17:30 BST)

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi changes both his full-backs after Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie both picked up muscle injuries in Spurs' draw to Nottingham Forest. That means there are starts for Andy Robertson and Archie Gray.

Mateus Fernandes also returns while Dominic Solanke makes his first start of the season. On the bench is James Maddison who's missed Spurs' last two league games with a shoulder injury.

Richarlison, whose move to Vasco da Gama fell through this week, is not in the squad.

Tottenham XI: Kinsky; Gray, Van de Ven, Van Hecke, Robertson; Tonali, Bentancur, Fernandes; Savio, Solankem, Marmoush.

Subs: Dubravka, Adarbioyo, Senesi, Gallagher, Maddison, Tel, Bergvall, Kudus, Davies.

    Tottenham XI

Ainsley Maitland-Niles was Everton's hero on debut in his side's 2-2 draw with Manchester United last week. He's rewarded with a start.

James Garner, who Maitland-Niles replaced off the bench last Sunday, is also OK for this fixture. Jack Grealish, a loan signing from Manchester City, is on the bench.

Everton XI: Pickford; Maitland-Niles, Tarkowski, Brathwaite, Mykolenko; Armstrong, Garner; Johnson, Dewsbury-Hall, George; Barry.

Subs: Travers, King, Keane, Grealish, O'Brien, Dibling, Alcaraz, Hackney, Graham.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:18 BST 12 September

    Crystal Palace 1-2 Ipswich Town

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez springs down to his right to make a fine save to deny Jack Clarke.

Clarke's effort came at the end of slick move from the away side.

They will have to put one of those chances to bed sooner rather than later.

    Oh my oh my.

A big error from Bournemouth as the keeper plays a one-two on the edge of his box but it's straight to the feet of Kevin Schade, who spots the empty net and goes for the audacious lob over the keeper's head.

It's a gift for the visitors but it's also a brilliant piece of work to get the finish right.

Nobel Mendy is back on his feet now - and Joao Pedro seems OK too after their nasty clash of heads.

  9. Iraola going early with changespublished at 16:17 BST 12 September

    Liverpool 0-0 Fulham

    Aadam Patel

Andoni Iraola is going early with his changes. That's three substitutions before the hour mark and it's the three players who came in to the side today who are all off. Iraola can't be too happy with what he's seen so far from Liverpool.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:16 BST 12 September

Forest's Xaver Schlager is booked for a foul on Ross Barkley.

  11. Postpublished at 16:16 BST 12 September

    Crystal Palace 1-2 Ipswich Town

Ipswich's Emersonn does brilliantly to create an opening for himself, turning two Crystal Palace players on the edge of the area.

The Brazilian then appears to lose all composure as he drives into the box and blazes his shot high and wide into the Holmesdale End.

Alonso's system will never give long-term success in the Premier League. There's too much quality for the space it leaves. He needs to drop it before he becomes another Amorim, dying on his 3421 sword. Sooner or later they are going to take a real beating if he doesn't.

    Marcus Tavernier (52 mins)

What a brilliantly worked goal that is by Bournemouth.

Evanilson has been excellent and he picks up the ball in the 18-yard box and holds it up well, turning to put his back to goal and finding Marcus Tavernier, who slots into the bottom far corner.

The Cherries have played some really nice stuff in this second half and their lead is deserved.

Konstantinos Tzolakis was at full stretch there. He moved across the ground very well with very good footwork to put it onto the post.

Great free-kick from Reece James, we know what he can do and the qualities that he possesses.

The job that Sergej Jakirovic has done at Hull City is genuinely unbelievable, especially for a man it's fair to say not many English fans would even have heard of a couple of years ago.

He led them to promotion against all odds, and even logic, last season - and they are top of the Premier League as things stand.

    Chelsea 1-2 Hull

I think Chelsea need to go at Hull with pace. Try to draw them out of position. Hit low, hard driven crosses across the box to try and get Hull's defenders running back towards their own goal. When they're just floating balls in, the likes of Egan and Mendy are very comfortable soaking up that pressure and being defensively solid.
