    West Brom 0-0 QPR

High energy start at The Hawthorns, as you would expect from two teams who have made good starts to the season, but no real chances to speak of just yet.

    Bolton 0-0 Cardiff

It's the second match in a row Cardiff have missed playmaker Rubin Colwill, but they're passing the ball around really confidently.

They're starting to pin Bolton back into their own half.

That was a real opportunity for Priske there just on his head. He didn't really know where it went.

    It's been a lively start.

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

    Birmingham build down the left.

Alex Cochrane whips over a cross where August Priske is waiting to apply the finishing touch but Eiran Cashin makes a vital intervention to put it away for a corner.

From the ensuing set-peice Priske heads over the Derby crossbar.

That is the best we have seen from either side so far.

  5. 'Beadle's distribution has improved'published at 12:40 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

James Beadle's distribution has improved from last season. He played a fantastic ball at Norwich last week which resulted in an equaliser on Wednesday.

You can see that John Eustace has set his side to be physical as there's light rain falling here at Pride Park.

  6. CLOSE!published at 12:39 BST 12 September

    Bolton 0-0 Cardiff

Cardiff have the first real opportunity of the match as Jack Moylan picks the ball up on the left side and carries it forward.

He whips the ball into the feet of Yousef Salech, but the Dane fails to get enough power on his shot to really test Gavin Bazunu.

He should have done better there.

Is it my eyes failing me or is there a serious kit clash issue in the WBA v QPR game?! Really struggling to tell them apart from the camera angle.

    Nick, Aylesbury

The Baggies are in their usual blue and white stripes while the R's are in a light purple shirt.

I have to say, I can see Nick's point.

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

    Steve Hermon
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Good atmosphere so far here at The Hawthorns.

QPR in the early stages are looking tough to break down. Albion are playing the ball around at the back.

  9. Postpublished at 12:36 BST 12 September

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

Bit of an unusual one here as West Brom midfielder Toby Collyer has to dash off the pitch to get a nose bleed patched up.

Not sure if the former Manchester United man took a whack.

    He's back out there now.

  10. Postpublished at 12:35 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

It is Derby's turn to threaten as Henrik Meister wins a free kick on the left.

Joe Ward's delivery is headed away by the Birmingham defence.

It already looks like set-pieces may well be a key feature of this game.

Perry Ng charges down the right side for Cardiff but Max Conway comes sliding in to shut down the attack.

The fans at a drizzly Toughsheet Stadium liked that very much.

I think when you join a new club you want to get on to fast start. Henrik Meister's had minutes here and there and this is a big opportunity for him.

We're all excited to see him. He's not an out-and-out winger so we'll probably see him come in and making a front two with Carlton Morris.

Of course for a forward player we will judge him on his goal contributions.

There's pressure on young players and we'll see if he's up for the challenge.

Bolton boss Steven Schumacher makes one change to the side which put up a valiant fight against West Ham earlier in the week, with defender Ben Davies coming into the starting line up for Chris Forino.

Brian Barry-Murphy's squad, and starting XI, is unchanged after that well-earned point against Stoke on Tuesday night.
