It's [the clash of kits] no better in the stadium. Crazy decision.

  2. 'This game needs a chance'published at 13:03 BST 12 September

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

    Steve Hermon
    BBC Radio WM commentator

The momentum has gone out of the game a little and so has the atmosphere.

It needs a chance, this game.

    Bolton 0-0 Cardiff

The home fans have been muted so far. You can sense the nerves. They need something to get them off their seats.

Meanwhile, Cardiff fans are loving life, and chanting a few not-very-nice things about the town of Bolton.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 13:02 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

August Priske heads in for Birmingham but Derby hold a good line to catch the striker offside.

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

West Brom nick the field pack in the midfield and Isaac Price's low cross wins them their first corner of the game down their left.

Price clips it in to the near post where Northern Ireland team-mate Pierce Charles punches it away.

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

Eiran Cashin and Derby goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom get in a bit of a lather.

The 'keeper comes out when Cashin has the ball under control and the backpass almost embarrasses Zetterstrom who has to stretch to stick out a foot and prevent an own goal.

Why have QPR not been made to change their colours? It’s difficult at times to follow play on the TV.

    Basa, Shrewsbury

As you can see above, it is not the best combination. QPR have an all-black third kit so does beg the question why that wasn't used...

  8. 'Meister's shown flashes'published at 13:00 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

    Malcolm Christie
Former Derby striker on BBC Radio Derby

I like the fact that we've got that pace on that counter attack.

We're trying to use that tactic to get the ball to Meister down that left. He's been good so far and shown some flashes.

There's been far more purpose from Derby.

    Bolton 0-0 Cardiff

Gavin Bazunu almost undoes all his good work after he misplaces a pass to Eoin Toal. Bolton's Jack Moylan nips in and steals the ball, but just as he's about to get a shot away Ben Davies comes sliding in.

It's a brilliant challenge by the Welshman.

  10. Postpublished at 12:57 BST 12 September

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

As my BBC Radio WM colleague Steve Hermon says, we've not had many chances yet.

Indeed, 26 minutes in we haven't had a shot on target from either side.

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

Sam Szmodics breaks down the left for Derby and sends in an inviting cross which Mohammed Fuseini is the width of an eyebrow from getting on the end of.

That is the best we have seen from the home side.

  12. 'Pretty football but not many chancces'published at 12:56 BST 12 September

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

    Steve Hermon
    BBC Radio WM commentator

There's been some pretty football but we haven't had a chance since Rabby Nzingoula's deflected effort.

At the other end Max O'Leary's been a spectator.

The drum in the Smethwick End has been the most active at the moment.

  13. Postpublished at 12:54 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

Sam Szmodics is back on the field for Derby after taking a bang to the wrist.

The forward has not had the best of luck with injuries in his career with a few freak ones - seems fine to continue.

Liam Millar cuts inside for Birmingham and bends a shot across the face of goal.

  14. 'Szmodics getting treatment on wrist'published at 12:52 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Sam Szmodics is getting treatment on his wrist. He's off the pitch at the moment and he looks in real pain.

  15. YELLOW CARDSpublished at 12:51 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

Mohammed Fuseini leaves something on Alex Cochrane as the ball is cleared away by Derby.

The Rams man is cautioned - silly really, could have been a different colour of card from referee John Busby if he had taken a dim view of that.

Cochrane then exacts some revenge on Fuseini on the halfway line - a card for the Birmingham defender this time.

    Bolton 0-0 Cardiff

Bolton pinch the ball from the feet of Ollie Tanner and are instantly on the counter attack.

Kyliane Dong holds it really well and feeds the pass through to Sam Dalby on the underlap, only for defender Gabriel Osho to come sliding in and win the ball back.

It's another Bolton break which has been snuffed out. I think Steven Schumacher's side are banking on scoring on the counter this afternoon.

  17. Postpublished at 12:51 BST 12 September

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

Paul Smyth is back on after his treatment and waiting the obligatory minute.

Has the magic sponge done the... magic?

  18. Postpublished at 12:48 BST 12 September

    West Brom 0-0 QPR

QPR forward Paul Smyth has been in some discomfort for the past 10 minutes or so now and he's getting some treatment now.

He's holding his lower back and I'd be surprised if he manages to carry on today.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:48 BST 12 September

    Bolton 0-0 Cardiff

Cardiff winger Ollie Tanner pings in a cross which is headed back into the six-yard box for Yousef Salech.

Salech gets a bullet header away but somehow Gavin Bazunu is there to tip it over the bar.

It's wave after wave at the moment from the Bluebirds.

  20. Postpublished at 12:47 BST 12 September

    Derby 0-0 Birmingham

Derby goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom has made the most saves of anyone in the Championship so far this season (22) which will be a worry for boss John Eustace at how easily his side have been opened up.

The Swede has been well protected so far as his defence deal with another Birmingham long throw.
