West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo probably won't be too thrilled with the start his side have had so far.
Portsmouth have looked far too comfortable and have kept the hosts to just the one attempt on goal.
He'll have a chance to try and pep up his side during this hydration break but he's looking a little worried. There's a lot of eyes on how his squad are going to perform in the upcoming Championship and this performance won't help fans' concerns after an underwhelming transfer window so far.
Around the grounds, Peterborough have just taken the lead against Bristol Rovers through Harry Leonard's penalty.
Reading lead against Bromley via Josh Stokes' strike, Fleetwood have broken the deadlock against Gillingham through Ched Evans and Blackpool took a very early lead against Grimsby following Niall Ennis' goal.
Crewe Alexandra are also set for the second round at the moment after Jack Lankester's seventh minute penalty against Accrington Stanley.

Leicester 1-0 Northampton
Tim Oglethorpe BBC Radio Northampton commentator
There is a good turnout of Northampton fans today.
You though there might have been more Leicester fans here, and I thought with it being the first competitive game of the season - it would be interesting to see how it compares to last year's first EFL Cup game.

Dom Jefferies (23 mins)
Wow.
Lincoln City have stepped up a level this season but they look more than ready for it.
Freddie Draper feeds a lovely ball through for Dom Jefferies on the right and he makes no mistake, slotting back across goal into the far bottom corner.
Ben House, who gave Lincoln an early lead, drives forward into space and hits a low rasping drive from range but Jacob Widell Zetterstrom gets across well to make the save.
