Wolves playmaker Fer Lopez spins in behind Albion defender George Campbell on the right.

Lopez then drives into the area but the referee spots an infringement on Campbell and the Baggies survive for now.

Some of the passes Djiga has made today have been exceptional.

West Brom are struggling to get hold of Fer Lopez and Rodrigo Gomes.

Wolves have had six shots to Albion's zero so far.

Three on target for the home side. West Brom have only had one touch in the Wolves area.

Can the Baggies continue to ride the early storm?

More desperate defending from Albion as they have to flood back in numbers to deny another Wolves attack.

The Baggies just about hack it clear from Rodrigo Gomes' cross from the right.

The first quarter of an hour has flown by.

Wolves have certainly looked the more likely early on. And but for Max O'Leary in the Albion goal, they would have been ahead.

West Brom win a free-kick about 30 yards out on the right. Isaac Price sends it in but Wolves are able to clear with ease.

Just watching that save again from Max O'Leary. Wow.

He's made some vital saves for Albion so far this season but perhaps none more so than that tip onto the bar to deny Nasser Djiga.

I think we've already seen the save of the season. What a save from Max O'Leary!

I thought that was in.

That was a great ball in from Kieran Trippier.

Unfortunate for Wolves.

My word. How are Wolves not ahead?!

Kieran Tripper recycles from the corner with a cross from the right. It bobbles around the area before Nasser Djiga heads on target from close range.

But Max O'Leary pulls off an absolutely incredible save to tip it onto the bar.

Wolves are on the front foot and that's what you'd expect as the home team.

Everything is coming down Albion's left, Wolves' right.

Isaac Price has to stay with his man.

Albion have got to sort it out defensively.

Rodrigo Gomes sends in a fizzed cross from the right for Wolves and Adam Armstrong is racing in to meet it but Nat Phillips does just about enough to deflect it behind for a corner.

It's a nervy watch back there for West Brom as they knock it about along their own six-yard line between goalkeeper Max O'Leary and the two centre-backs.

West Brom continue to try and play their football, building up in their own half before they come forward.

So far, though, Wolves are equal to it in the midfield and are able to recover possession.

The press is good from Wolves and that created that opportunity.

It's good defending from West Brom.

Decent chance for Wolves.

George Campbell with a poor pass out for West Brom and Marshall Munetsi drives into the area.

He gets a shot away about 15 yards out but Callum Styles is there to make a vital block.

Isaac Price showing what this derby is all about. He's furious with Andre kicking at his heels and the West Brom man responds in kind with, let's say... a stern word or two.

You need leaders out there today, especially on a day like this.

You need someone to stand up.

George Campbell is fouled deep inside his own half and West Brom win a free-kick.

A moment to catch the breath for the visitors. It's high octane stuff early on.

First moment of real promise of the afternoon.

It comes to Rodrigo Gomes at the back post for Wolves but he cannot make a decent connection and it's easy for Max O'Leary in the Albion goal to gather.
