Senne Lammens has had hardly anything to do on his first appearance since his World Cup error against France.

The Manchester United goalkeeper had little chance of keeping that out though.

Like they had done to Leeds earlier, Manchester United's defence was opened up by some quick passing and Brenden Aaronson ended up with only Lammens to beat.

Mbeumo has been nearly everywhere today but he fouls James trying to win the ball in midfield.

An Arsenal set-piece ends up in the Como keeper's gloves. They haven't created a whole lot tonight, the Gunners.

There are by far more red Manchester United shirts on view inside Croke Park tonight than yellow or white Leeds one.

The Manchester United fans are making by far the most noise too.

Their fluid passing in midfield is opening Leeds up and they are exploiting spaces in front of the defence to create chances.

Michael Carrick's side are deservedly ahead.

This game is being refereed by Irishman Neil Doyle, who has a League of Ireland badge on his kit and a sponsor of a fizzy drink only available in the UK in the Irish section of shops.

Manchester United very much in control of this game.

It's been a start where Arsenal have dominated the ball but this is far from the first choice starting XI.

There are five academy graduates in the team this evening including Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman who have all experienced regular first team minutes at some stage.

Dowman has had some bright moments out on the wing and got the crowd off their feet but Arsenal have not been able to find a way to open the scoring yet.

Very nearly a second. Mbeumo tries to find Dorgu but the ball comes back to the Cameroonian, who shoots first time and drills it just wide.

Dowman skips into the box but he's tackled at the second attempt. Lively.
