Heart of Midlothian 2-1 St Johnstone

    Brian McLauchlin

Fair play to St Johnstone, who have not given up hope in this game and another defensive lapse by Hearts allows Saints a foothold in the match.

Jason Holt and Sam Stanton beginning to have a major impact on the game.

It may not be too long until Wouter Vrancken looks to the bench to freshen the team up as one or two players now looking a bit leggy.

  3. Postpublished at 16:13 BST

Heart of Midlothian 2-1 St Johnstone

Almost an equaliser for St Johnstone!

Enes Alic is slipped down the left and the debutant crosses to the front post, but Stuart Findlay slides back to knock it just past the post.

  4. Postpublished at 16:12 BST

    Kilmarnock 0-3 Dundee United

Almost a fourth for United as Abdoulaye Yoro gets away a shot, but goalkeeper Max Stryjek stands up well to it.

Nicky Clark's managerial reign has not been going too well so far, but the veteran striker steps up with a goal to bring the League 1 strugglers level.

  8. Double Killie changepublished at 16:09 BST

    Kilmarnock 0-3 Dundee United

Jamie Brandon and Djenairo Daniels are on for Kilmarnock at the break, with debutant Jonathan Meier and Nick Clescenco making way. George Stanger had replaced the injury Robbie Deas in the first half.

Michael Schjonning-Larsen sets up Joe Hugill for a shot but the Killie forward cannot keep his effort down.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:09 BST

    Celtic 2-0 Falkirk

Scott Bain might have been at fault for Celtic's opener, but this is a great stop.

Benjamin Nygren skips past a trailing leg and looks certain to score, but the goalkeeper makes himself big and blocks it behind.

  10. goal

GOAL Heart of Midlothian 2-1 ST JOHNSTONEpublished at 16:07 BST

    Ruari Paton

What were we saying about Hearts looking certain winners?

A simple header splits the defence, with Ruari Paton in behind Jordi Altena. The striker holds off the Dutch defender and slides it past Beau Reus.

    Far too simple.

  11. Postpublished at 16:07 BST

    Celtic 2-0 Falkirk

A beautiful first touch from little Ben Parkinson creates a sight of goal for Falkirk, but the former Newcastle striker's shot is over the bar.

  12. Clinical Wilson?published at 16:05 BST

Heart of Midlothian 2-0 St Johnstone

Opta tells us that James Wilson had just two touches in the first half.

One of them was a goal, right enough. And the young Hearts striker's got another just from the restart.

  13. KICK-OFF SECOND HALFpublished at 16:03 BST

    Here we go.

But it will take a lot to deny Celtic, Hearts and Dundee United three points each.

  15. The curse of the new pitch?published at 16:01 BST

    HT: Kilmarnock 0-3 Dundee United

Kilmarnock's new grass hybrid pitch at Rugby Park certainly looks impressive, but it is their Scottish Premiership opponents that are enjoying it more than they are.

Celtic and now Dundee United have built up three-goal first-half leads on the new surface. Celtic went on to win 5-1, can United do the same?

Killie fans will be quick to point out that their side did beat Ayr United 3-2 at home in the League Cup, of course.

  16. Huge second half for home sidepublished at 16:01 BST

    HT: Kilmarnock 0-3 Dundee United

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

Kilmarnock have now conceded a dozen goals in the first two and a half matches of this new Premiership season.

There will have been a huge team talk for home boss Neil McCann as his side need a big improvement after the break if they want to take anything from this afternoon.

  17. Hearts easing to victory?published at 15:56 BST

HT: Heart of Midlothian 2-0 St Johnstone

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle

Hearts could well and truly be out of sight in this game. It’s clear to see the players are feeling no ill effects after their triumph in Vienna in midweek with attack after attack on the Saints goal.

Laurent Mendy is pulling the strings in the middle and its difficult to see how St Johnstone find a way back into this game.
