  1. 'Burnley hesitant on the ball'published at 15:23 BST 19 September

    Burnley 0-0 Derby

    Ed Dawes
    BBC Radio Derby commentator

Burnley on the ball are so hesitant.

I think it's a case of whoever scores first will win the game.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:21 BST 19 September

    Wrexham 0-0 Southampton

Ben Sheaf is forced into a cynical challenge to take down a charging Leo Scienza.

The Wrexham man is given a yellow card for his troubles.

  3. Postpublished at 15:20 BST 19 September

    Burnley 0-0 Derby

The away side have the first chance.

A loose ball runs to David Ozoh on the edge of the area and his well-hit shot takes a deflection and flies wide.

    Birmingham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Radek Vitek makes a big save in the Boro goal to put Luis Vazquez's header over the crossbar.

Not a lot to report on just yet from Sincil Bank, where it remains goalless as we tick past the quarter of an hour mark.

It is clear that both of these sides are high on confidence and enthusiasm but, to that end, they are currently cancelling each other out.

  6. RED CARD FOR QPRpublished at 15:17 BST 19 September

    QPR 0-1 Preston

Oh dear. The R's are not off to a good start.

Dennis Cirkin has been given a straight red card for a high, late challenge on Leo Leroy.

Clear dismissal and now QPR are a goal down, a man down and facing a dangerous free-kick all in the opening 15 minutes.

Wrexham perfectly within their rights to mock Southampton for cheating. The culprit is still in situ and the so-called 'siege mentality' over their perfectly fair punishment will only encourage the ridicule to continue.

    Chris, London

If Tim (15:03) thinks Southampton's punishment was disproportionate, he has a strange philosophy on fair play.

  8. Postpublished at 15:17 BST 19 September

    Burnley 0-0 Derby

Nervy stuff between the teams who are, at present, the bottom two in the league.

    No shots of any sort.

  9. Postpublished at 15:16 BST 19 September

    Wrexham 0-0 Southampton

Leo Scienza takes the first shot for the Saints after Finn Azaz does good work to start a counter-attack.

Wrexham stopper Anthony Patterson denies him but it's clear the hosts are going to be wary of those breaks from Azaz. Not the first time he's gone speeding up the pitch.

  10. goal

GOAL: Portsmouth 1-1 Blackburnpublished at 15:11 BST 19 September

    Oladapo Afolayan (11 mins)

    Rovers reply rapidly!

It is a terrific finish from Oladapo Afolayan, who brings Blackburn level at Fratton Park with a strike out of nothing.

He picks the ball up on the left of the box and then fires a low drive which beats Daniel Bielica at his near post.

Afolayan scored twice in last week's 3-1 win over Millwall and now has another to add to his tally.

  11. 'Burnley looking to be more of a threat'published at 15:11 BST 19 September

    Burnley 0-0 Derby

    David Unsworth
Former Burnley and Everton defender on BBC Radio Lancashire

Without possession Alleyne is just sitting in front of the defence, he's playing in a holding role today.

I wonder what that will mean when they have the ball, but hopefully it can give them more control in the middle as they'll want to be more of a threat.

  12. Postpublished at 15:10 BST 19 September

    Wrexham 0-0 Southampton

Wrexham have got off fast as Callum O'Hare drags a shot wide in the opening minute.

He gets another bite, this time with a nod but it's claimed by the Saints keeper.

  13. Postpublished at 15:10 BST 19 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Middlesbrough

The away side threaten for the first time.

Amario Cozier-Duberry races down the right and looks to tee up top scorer Will Lankshear but the former Tottenham man can't get a solid contact.

  14. Postpublished at 15:08 BST 19 September

    Burnley 0-0 Derby

The home team have made a few changes and none more notable than bringing Gregoire Coudert in in goal.

Max Weiss has had a very tough start to the campaign for the Clarets.

  15. goal

GOAL: QPR 0-1 Prestonpublished at 15:05 BST 19 September

    Johnny Kenny (1 mins)

    That was fast...

Stan Mills' long pass seems like it's just going to a QPR player but Johnny Kenny sticks out his foot to claim possession, drives beyond the sleeping defender and cuts it into the net for an early lead.

Lovely start for caretaker boss Jason Euell's men.

  16. Postpublished at 15:05 BST 19 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Middlesbrough

First chance of the game goes the way of the home side but Jhon Solis shoots wide from 18 yards out.

  17. goal

GOAL: Portsmouth 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 15:04 BST 19 September

    Zak Swanson (4 mins)

The Fratton Park faithful have not had to wait long for an opening goal - and it has gone the way of the hosts!

Jayden Meghoma advances down the left and crosses, but the cross is cleared only as far as Zak Swanson, who fires through a crowd of bodies from the edge of the box and gives Pompey the lead.

  18. Postpublished at 15:03 BST 19 September

    QPR 0-0 Preston

17-year-old Leon Scarlett makes his first start for Queens Park Rangers this afternoon. He is up front alongside Rumarn Burrell.

It's also a first game as manager for Preston's caretaker Jason Euell after a wealth of experience in coaching.

Whose maiden experience is going to go better?

Saints already have a siege mentality due to the disproportionate punishment meted out by the EFL and this is carrying through to their performances on the pitch. Wrexham owners’ boorish video will only add to this mentality and will give even more motivation to beat Wrexham. Thanks boys.
