  1. 'Burnley will be happy, Derby look devoid'published at 16:04 BST 19 September

    HT: Burnley 1-0 Derby

    Adam Cottier
BBC Final Score commentator at Turf Moor

Burnley will be happy to be ahead but it’s not been a particularly entertaining game. Derby look devoid of anything - a really poor showing so far from John Eustace’s team here.

Burnley are halfway towards their first league win at home in 11 months and they just about deserve it.

  2. 'Saints full of goals - but not clean sheets'published at 16:00 BST 19 September

    HT: Wrexham 1-0 Southampton

    Tom Gayle
BBC Radio 5 Live and Final Score reporter

    A tale of two strikers.

I counted six chances for Southampton’s Cyle Larin, before Kieffer Moore’s header, from a corner, with what remains his only chance of the game.

Southampton look a team full of goals, but it's still just one league clean sheet on the road since Boxing Day 2024.

  3. 'Only goal of the game could win it'published at 15:58 BST 19 September

    HT: Burnley 1-0 Derby

    Ed Dawes
    BBC Radio Derby commentator

It's a game that depicts the lower of the Championship table.

Not much has been created, it feels the only goal of the game could be enough to win it.

  4. 'Wrexham lucky to be ahead'published at 15:56 BST 19 September

    HT: Wrexham 1-0 Southampton

    Barry Horne
Former Wrexham and Southampton midfielder on BBC Radio Wales

Southampton very impressive, I think Wrexham were very lucky to be a goal ahead there.

Saints were totally in control for most of that and will be hoping they don't rue those missed chances.

Dapo is proving to be a really good signing for Rovers, can't understand why he was allowed to leave for Germany with his pace and physicality.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:54 BST 19 September

    Portsmouth 1-1 Blackburn

All to play for in the second half of this meeting, in which both sides have found the back of the net in the opening 45.

Pompey edged ahead in the opening five minutes thanks to some quality from Zak Swanson, but the in-form Oladapo Afolayan squared things up within ten minutes of Rovers falling behind when he cut inside and beat Daniel Bielica at his near post.

You would be wise to expect more goals after the break.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 BST 19 September

    Lincoln 1-0 Swansea

The Imps' remarkable recent form is in a good place to continue at half-time, as they lead early pace-setters Swansea 1-0.

In what has been a relatively tight affair, Lincoln have certainly had the better of it and nosed themselves in front before half-time when Freddie Draper was felled by Josh Tymon in the penalty area.

Reeco Hackett did the rest from the spot.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 BST 19 September

    QPR 0-2 Preston

Jason Euell has a dream first-half as caretaker Preston North End boss against 10-man QPR.

Stan Mills and Johnny Kenny combine to give the latter a double, the first sent home in the opening minute.

The R's have made things hard for themselves though after a reckless tackle from Dennis Cirkin saw the defender given his marching orders.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 BST 19 September

    Wrexham 1-0 Southampton

Kieffer Moore puts Wrexham ahead against an otherwise dominant Southampton.

It's been all Saints but minutes after striker Cyle Larin wastes a clear cut chance, the Red Dragons make them pay with an excellent header from Moore.

Saints have every chance of a comeback. Can the hosts hold them off?

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 BST 19 September

    Burnley 1-0 Derby

The home side have a crucial lead at the break through Zeki Amdouni's goal.

  11. Postpublished at 15:50 BST 19 September

    Portsmouth 1-1 Blackburn

Balazs Toth has just made amends in the Blackburn goal having almost been culpable for a costly error at the back.

Playing out from the back, he looks for team-mate Tom Atcheson but Chelsea loanee Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is lurking for Pompey and almost punishes the Rovers keeper, only for Toth to recover and keep the scores level.

  12. Postpublished at 15:49 BST 19 September

    QPR 0-2 Preston

Callum Lang lets off a shot to try and make it two following a blistering run from Stan Mills.

Lang's shot catches a deflection to make it easy for R's keeper Pierce Charles to collect.

Mills is looking dangerous this afternoon. Not what a 10-man Rangers side want to see.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 BST 19 September

    Birmingham 0-1 Middlesbrough

    Good stuff this.

Max Arfsten's first goal for Middlesbrough has the away side in front, and heading top, at the break.

Oh Rangers, typical R's, chance to stay in the mix at the top of the league against a team that's not performing and we throw it away, don't you just love that word, "HOPE"

GOAL: Birmingham 0-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 15:46 BST 19 September

    Max Arfsten (45 mins)

The away side hit the front just before the break!

Max Arfsten has way too much time and space in the area and the USA international makes no mistake with a quality finish.

Brilliant work from Amario Cozier-Duberry to tee him up.

  16. Postpublished at 15:46 BST 19 September

    Wrexham 1-0 Southampton

Wrexham seem galvanised by their goal but Saints are still coming.

Ryan Manning whips in a lovely free-kick but unlike Kieffer Moore up the other end, Kevan Schlotterbeck is messy with his connection and the hosts can put it away.

  17. Postpublished at 15:45 BST 19 September

    Burnley 1-0 Derby

The home side have to hack the ball off the line as Derby look to bundle it in with Clarets keeper Gregoire Coudert down off the ball.

  18. Moore, Moore, Moorepublished at 15:41 BST 19 September

    Wrexham 1-0 Southampton

    Ian Mitchelmore
BBC Sport Wales at the Racecourse Ground

    That is classic Kieffer Moore.

The Wales striker rises the highest to meet Ben Whiteman's corner and guides his header into the far corner to give the home side the lead.

That's his third goal of the campaign.

  19. 'Fantastic striker play'published at 15:41 BST 19 September

    Wrexham 1-0 Southampton

    Barry Horne
Former Wrexham and Southampton midfielder on BBC Radio Wales

It's completely against the run of play.

It's fantastic striker play from Moore who meets it and finds the net.

  20. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 1-0 Swanseapublished at 15:39 BST 19 September

    Reeco Hackett (39 mins)

The deadlock is broken at Sincil Bank!

Lincoln play it forwards over the top and Freddie Draper is brought down in the penalty area by Swansea defender Josh Tymon.

Tymon actually expected a free kick to be awarded to him in the build up for a push in the back by Draper, but the referee does not consider it a foul and Tymon clumsily goes through the back of the Lincoln man as he bears down on goal.

Reeco Hackett makes no mistake from the spot and sends Lawrence Vigoroux the wrong way.
