It's kicking off on the pitch after United's Liam Kitching puts in a heavy challenge on Luke Graham.

Heated arguments are happening everywhere, a lot for referee Tim Robinson to try and quell but he does so.

In the book goes Stoke's Ethan Galbraith and Eric Bocat for their reactions and initial perpetrator Kitching doesn't get away it either.

The goalkeeper for West Ham isn't positive at all.

He's being pinned to his line at the moment. It doesn't help that the game has gone a bit scrappy.

Arthur Okonkwo again comes to the rescue for Charlton.

Joel Bagan clips an inviting cross from the Cardiff left to the back post and it is met by Joel Colwill, who heads on target but Okonkwo beats the effort away.

Arne Engels takes aim from 22 yards out for the Hammers and Jake Cooper makes a great block.

Mohamadou Kante then thumps the loose ball high and wide.

Stoke are responding to going a goal down.

Ethan Galbraith spots Eric Bocat in acres of space on the left and sends the ball his way.

Bocat fires but Blades keeper Michael Cooper parries it away.

A chance for Karlan Grant.

A long throw is helped down the line by Timothy Ouma and Grant finds himself in on goal, albeit at an awkward angle.

The attacker has Tyreece Campbell as an option, but he opts to go for goal himself but only hits the side-netting, with the angle proving too tight.

A chance passed up by Charlton and a warning shot for Cardiff.

United's Ollie Arblaster gives away a needless foul on Djibril Soumare and ends up in the book.

Cardiff have continued to be bright in the early stages of this half.

Chris Willock finds Joel Bagan on the overlap on the left hand side and he stands a cross up for Yousef Salech to attack, but Amari'i Bell does enough in the aerial battle to quell the danger.

Oliver Skipp has just become the latest player to be booked for a foul on the edge of the box. Perry Ng's resulting free-kick is hit into the Charlton wall.

That's Kalvin Phillips' first league goal since May 2021.

The former England international's career has stalled in the past few years but could it be finding a new lease of life?

West Ham finally coming into the game.

Thirty-five minutes to go, can they rescue something from this match?

Filip Marschall called into action.

The keeper gets down to stop Jarrod Bowen's deflected low 25-yarder but it squirms away from him and Mohamadou Kante comes into convert but the Lions keeper Marschall does well to turn it behind for a corner.

West Ham are doing something a little bit positive.

It's not a huge difference, but they're trying something different.

Arne Engels' corner kick is catching practice for Filip Marschall in the home goal.

Amari'i Bell and Timothy Ouma have entered the fray at half time for Charlton, replacing Tyler Bindon and Millenic Alli.

We are back underway at the Cardiff City Stadium.

West Ham win a corner, their first I believe, as Divin Mukasa's long range shot is charged down.

It's been mentioned a lot that this game hasn't been played very frequently over the past 30 years, this is just the eighth meeting since March 1993.

Millwall haven't won this fixture since November 2004.

These Lions players are a shade over 40 minutes from becoming club heroes.

Blades keeper Michael Cooper finds Patrick Bamford with his long ball, who then in turn sets up Sydie Peck.

It's nice work to give Peck the opportunity but the finished product goes whizzing high into the stands.
