Yet they met an immovable object in the Tottenham defence. That's five clean sheets in nine under the guidance of Martin Ho.

I think Martin Ho and his Spurs side will be pleased with the way they managed that game throughout the various phases. I think Spurs would have been happy with a point before the game. A lot of positives to take for Spurs.

We did say that the margins are getting smaller between the north London rivals in the Women's Super League.

That's just the fifth point Tottenham have taken off Arsenal in 12 top flight meetings.

After 95 minutes played the north London rivals are made to settle for a point each.

If you were being honest with yourself, before the game you'd happily take the draw if you're a Spurs fan.

They know that Arsenal have more quality player to player, but it just takes that defensive organisation and that commitment from Spurs to really try and find that result and dig deep. So far they've been really, really good at it.

Martha Thomas is the first Tottenham player to go in the book for a late challenge on Emily Fox.

With ten minutes [plus stoppage time left to play Arsenal mix it up and play their next corner short.
