    Chelsea fan here - good window so far, I'd like to see today Enzo gone and a decent defender in to go alongside Levi and Lacroix, this happening puts us in the title mix.

    Very good selling window for us, especially if Enzo is sold to City. Hopefully we can get Camara or Kone in before the deadline passes.

    So long as we replace Enzo with a high-quality player, I'm extremely happy with this window. Replacing Sanchez was the biggest necessity. Attack looks great. And we still have Caicedo / Palestra to properly integrate into the matchday squad.

    As a Chelsea fan a great window. We have got rid of three bench warming strikers for over 130M, plus many other also rans and if can off load Enzo and it will be complete. Add to that the quality and experience brought in, its been excellent.

  2. Fofana set to sign for Sunderland

    Lyon attacker Malick Fofana has agreed to join Sunderland.

    The 21-year-old is currently travelling to Wearside to complete his medical.

    BBC Sport understands the deal is worth £25.6m plus £4.3m in add-ons and will run until 2031.

    Fofana had been offered to Arsenal but talks ended as the Gunners could not agree a fee with the Ligue 1 side.

    Chelsea have made a £38.5m offer to sign Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara.

    The move is part of the club's plans to replace Enzo Fernandez, who is closing in on a move to Manchester City before the transfer deadline for a fee of about £120m.

    Chelsea's willingness to sanction the sale is contingent on a replacement being found, with talks with Monaco expected to continue. Monaco may also be in a stronger negotiating position following the £40m sale of striker Folarin Balogun to Everton.

  6. Roma deny Chelsea make any offers for midfielder Manu Kone

    Roma deny any formal offer has come in from Chelsea for midfielder Manu Kone.

    He's clearly a player of interest to the Blues but Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini issued a statement blocking it last night.

    Of course, this scenario is all playing out in the context of Chelsea having also shown an interest in Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara and Enzo Fernandez potentially leaving to Manchester City.

    Everton have agreed a £40m deal to sign USA international Folarin Balogun from Monaco, with a medical set to take place today.

    So what type of player have Everton agreed to sign and how does he compare to Thierno Barry, the Toffees' current first choice striker?

    A one-time Arsenal academy graduate, Balogun joined Monaco from the Gunners for £35m in 2023, going on to score 31 goals in 91 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.

    He missed four months of the 2024-25 campaign due to injury but after returning to fitness in April he enjoyed the most prolific season of his career to date in 2025-26, scoring 19 goals in 43 games in all competitions, including five in the Champions League.

    Whereas Barry is more of a target man adept at winning balls in the air, Balogun boasts greater pace and a game built around making runs behind opposition defences.

    At the World Cup earlier this summer, the 25-year-old averaged eight runs in behind per game, ranking him third of all strikers, and scored three goals.

    His goals-per-minute ratio was almost identical to that of Beto, who is leaving Everton for Fiorentina in a £15m deal, in league football last season.

    But Balogun's younger age and Champions League experience suggest his ceiling could be comparatively higher.

    His tally of 19 goals in all competitions last season is at least seven more than either Beto or Barry have managed in a single campaign with a club in an elite European league.

    Ilyas Ansah featured in all but one of Union Berlin's matches last season.

    The 21-year-old striker scored five goals and assisted three times.

    On the international stage, he has played for Germany's under-20s and 21 side.

    Speaking to the club, Ansah said: “I’m very excited. It’s a dream come true for me to play in the Premier League, and for such a big club – it’s really an honour for me.

    “I have heard a lot about the club, the players and the team, and I’m excited to play with the boys and to get to know them.

    “It was an honour and a dream playing in the Bundesliga. Now, I have another dream to play in the Premier League, and I’m going to work hard for it.

    “I’m a very flexible player. I can play almost anywhere up front – on the left side, on the right side, maybe as a 10. I’m definitely a player who always gives his best and leaves it all on the pitch.

    “Taking my man on, beating players, shooting on target and scoring goals – that’s my main goal I want to reach at this club.

    “It’s been a really exciting start to the season – two wins out of two games. Now, it’s time for me to get into the team and be a part of what they are already achieving.”

    Chelsea have been linked with Roma midfielder Manu Kone as a replacement for Enzo Fernandez, should the Argentine depart for Manchester City.

    Reports in Italy say that, though the deal was close, Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini has asked that Kone remain at the club.

  14. Souza joins Porto on loan

    Spurs have announced that Souza has joined Portuguese Primeira Liga side FC Porto on loan for the rest of the 2026/27 season.

    The full-back joined Tottenham from Brazilian Serie A side Santos in January.

    Souza made his debut off the bench against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 7 February and made four appearances last season.

  16. Moore to spend season with Cologne in Bundesliga

    Tottenham winger Mikey Moore has joined Bundesliga side Cologne on a season-long loan deal.

    The 19-year-old academy graduate made his Premier League debut against Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in May 2024.

    He featured in the team that won the Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup double in 2022-23.

    Moore was also part of Spurs' Europa League-winning campaign during the 2024-25 season.
